Boot care instructions

These warm, waterproof boots are made mostly of polyester with some full grain leather inserts. A little waterproofing spray will keep them water repellent on the outside of the boot. Dry them well after each use in an upright position and away from the fireplace or radiator. 1/ Remove dust from the shoes with a brush. With water and soap if necessary. 2/ Spray with Nikwax waterproofing spray

European Production

This shoe was designed in France, developed by the production team in Italy, then manufactured in Romania by a partner supplier. Most of the materials also come from Europe.

Waterproof

Outings are much more pleasant when your feet stay dry throughout! But this is the number 1 problem when shoes get taken off the beaten path. So our design team worked hard on this very issue. a breathable, waterproof membrane was integrated underneath the upper to keep water from getting in (rain, dew, etc.) while releasing perspiration. And we tested it in the lab, flexing it 50,000 times in water – equivalent to approximately 20 km or 8 hours of walking – without any water getting inside.

Warm

To ensure comfort in all weather conditions, and especially when it's cold, the best insulating components on the market were used: Thinsulate by 3M. With 800 grams of insulation underneath the waterproof membrane, feet stay warm even in temperatures below -10/-15°C. Cover head and neck, as 40% of the body's heat escapes from them. Keeping feet warm starts at the top.

Grip, Support

A good sole is essential to go anywhere and walk on rough terrain. Our engineering team consulted advanced specialists at VIBRAM. Excellent grip on dry and wet ground, as well as on snow and ice. Beware of wet rocks, all equipment has limits. With an 8 inch (20.3 cm) upper, ankles are well supported but not restricted; snow will not easily seep into the shoe.
