Waterproofing The Schmerber water column test
A fabric’s strength is measured in water pressure, expressed in mm water column (test based on the JIS 1092B standard). The greater the pressure, the more the fabric is waterproof. With 15,000 mm waterproofing, our 500 trousers have a very high level of waterproofing. Fabrics with a waterproofing index of 15,000 mm withstand a pressure of 1.5 Bar.
Waterproofing Shower test
In our eyes, this test reflects real-life conditions the best because products designed with a waterproof fabric could let in water through the seams, flaps or zips. In the test, the products are put under a shower in order to test their overall waterproofing capacity. Our 500 trousers will protect you in heavy downpours (30 cm of rain in 3 hours)
Breathability R.E.T Test
Breathability is rated according to thermal evaporative resistance (RET), which indicates a fabric’s ability to wick away moisture. The lower this resistance (and therefore the coefficient), the more breathable the fabric is! (Test based on the ISO 11092 standard). Beautiful looking, well made product, but sized very small - not as indicated. I wear 42” waisted pants. The 2XL indicates 112-118cm which translates to 44-46.5”. I couldn’t get them on, let alone closed. Be forewarned.

Le produit est top on reste bien au sec, les poches sont étanches. Rien à redire Petit bémol, si on est grand et fin le pantalon est un peu court et les bretelles aussi. Même en prenant une taille au dessus et en mettant une ceinture.
