How to choose your club size
The distance between the ground and your hands determines the length of your clubs. At Inesis, we offer 2 sizes: Size 1: suitable for golfers with a ground to wrist distance less than 78.5 cm (31") Size 2: suitable for men and women golfers with a hand-to-ground distance of 78.5 cm (31") or more. We recommend a size 2 if the measurement is 78.5 cm (31") exactly. You can easily measure your size at home by following method you see in the video.
How to find out your swing speed?

Power
The 500 irons have a forged face for amazing mechanical properties for more power and a great feel. The hollow head makes it more refined to maximize the trampoline effect. This brings us very close to the techniques used on the drivers. Our partner UST Mamiya has further improved its range of graphite shafts with Recoil DART. For the steel shaft, the 500 irons will be equipped with the XP95 from the True Temper range.
Forgiveness
The head of the 500 irons measures 81 mm (3”). This length is what gives the 500 irons their amazing forgiveness. With a larger surface to strike, you increase the size of the sweet spot, the place where the ratio of ball speed to club speed is highest. A long face also increases the club’s MOI (moment of inertia), which improves the stability of the club at impact. The ball is more inclined to stay straight even when it is not hit by the centre of the face.
Timeless design
The “hollow body” architecture gives it the look of a more advanced club, with added forgiveness. Charles, our club designer, developed it with sleek and elegant lines. He wanted to showcase the aesthetics of the raw materials, the steel and the attention to detail: mirror polish, anodizing, CNC surface refinishing, laser printing. The darkness of the tungsten creates a stunning contrast at the back of the head.
Don’t forget the gap wedge!
The loft of the 500 7-iron is 28°. This is around the market average for an iron for intermediate golfers. What then matters is for the difference in the distance between each club to be evenly spaced. This is why we introduced a Gap Wedge with a loft of 47° to act as the middle ground between the Pitching Wedge and the 52° (56°, 60°) wedge.

La série est d'une jouabilité incroyable, elle est aussi très puissante grâce à sa face en acier forgé "maraging". Je craignais donc un toucher et un son qui soient trop "métalliques"... il n'en n'est rien, les fers sont hyper doux et ! Cette série est très bien finie et malgr
é un aspect un rien "pataud", notamment sur le fer 5 (normal...ce sont des clubs "hollow body" dédiés aux joueurs ayant des index moyens et qui sont donc conçus pour contrecarrer des lofts très bas et ainsi favoriser la distance et la jouabilité !) elle est plutôt jolie et je suis certain de passer outre assez rapidement sur ce détail architectural dès lors que je ferai un maximum de traits dans toutes les conditions de jeu ! Personnellement je joue le pitch à 130/135 m environ, aussi je salue Decathlon pour avoir conçu un Gap Wedge en 47 que je vais devoir ajouter asap à cette série et ainsi faire le lien avec mon 52. Alors pourquoi 4 étoiles et pas 5 ?... de mon point de vue, 2 éléments au moins, manquent à cette offre dont le rapport qualité prix est par ailleurs, excellent : un shaft acier en stiff et plusieurs grips (taille midsize et choix de 2 ou 3 modèles differents)... grande distribution et matériel adaptable serait-il incompatible ? ... surtout au golf ou toucher à posteriori à l'offre existante pour l'adapter à soi (je vais devoir changer les grips) modifie potentiellement l'équilibre originel des clubs (tel qu'étudié par les équipes R&D Decathlon lors de leur conception)... dommage ! Une autre suggestion enfin : possibilité d'essayer en magasin, le pitch et le fer 5, par exemple... seul le fer 7 est à l'essai et l'on sait tous que c'est le club standard par excellence et donc l'un des plus faciles à jouer... or le fer 5 est d'une construction bien différente ici, il est par essence généralement plus délicat à manier aussi il est souhaitable pour nous, d'intégrer ce paramètre au moment de faire le choix de son shaft... c'est pourquoi on devrait pouvoir l'essayer aussi, d'autant que je l'ai trouvé particulièrement simple à jouer et que cela encourage à acheter la série ! CQFD 😉 Un grand MERCI à Laurent (Decathlon Croissy Beaubourg) pour les précieux conseils qu'il m'a prodigué durant l'essai de ces clubs ainsi que son professionnalisme, sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse ! Bravo Decathlon... vous êtes sur la bonne voie pour développer la vente de matériel de golf (les balles Inesis 900 sont excellentes, le gant 900 est très bon et j'ai aussi la série de fer Inesis 900 que j'apprécie énormément...) !

On m'avait déjà recommandé la version précédente et comme j'étais à la recherche de nouveaux fers plus adapté à mon niveau qui s'améliore tout en gardant une bonne tolérance je me suis naturellement dirigé vers elle. Coup de chance, la version 2 venait tout juste de sortir. Ra
pidement essayés sur le parcours, ces fers m'ont donné une entière satisfaction : le design est sympa, la prise en main facile et je les ai trouvé faciles à jouer (très tolérants sur les contacts decentrés). Le feeling est super quand le contact est bon. J'ai hâte d'y retourner. Et quand on voit le prix, comparés aux clubs des grandes marques c'est imbattable.

J'ai adoré ces clubs. Il sont faciles à jouer tout en gardant un beau design de tête. J'ai jamais envoyé la balle aussi loin. C'est bluffant. Je conseille fortement. Essayer c'est l'adopter!

Les clubs posent parfaitement bien à l'adresse, le contact est très consistant et restitue très bien la sensation de puissance lorsque la balle sort du club. Une réelle évolution par rapport à la première version!!!
