We tested the dexterity of these gloves by evaluating how easy it is to put on a jacket, handle camping equipment and walking poles, and to drink and eat. 
For better dexterity, these gloves are pre-curved and double-seamed to adapt to the natural shape of your fingers.

How did we test the dexterity of these gloves?

These gloves do not have a waterproof membrane, which allows for better breathability during intense exercise. 
However, these gloves are water-repellent. This means water to run off the surface without being absorbed. Water repellency keeps the fabric lightweight and warm. These gloves were designed to fit with camping waterproof over-gloves in case of rain.

Are these gloves waterproof or water-repellent?

All our gloves are lab-tested on a thermal hand. The temperature ratings (recommended and limit) come from a study with a test panel of 23 walkers exposed to temperatures ranging from 5°C to -20°C and 10 km/h (6 mph) winds. These temperature ratings are only valid in walking conditions. These gloves are given a rating from 1 to 5 for their warmth.
