Precautions for electronic devices
If you’re carrying electronic devices or important documents, we recommend doubling the protection by using a waterproof pouch (IPX8) or a second, smaller dry bag that fits inside your bag. Ensure all bags are properly closed and check water resistance with paper towel before hitting the water. Do not swim with the bag neither immerse it underwater.
Fastening system
To ensure good water resistance: 1/ Tightly roll down the top of the bag 5 times. 2/ Fasten the centre buckles. 3/ Fasten the side buckles. Leave some air in the bag. The bag should look inflated when closed: this makes it more watertight and ensures it will float.

We bought this bag for the reverse reason - to keep water in! We are camping and have a hard time when the ice melts in the cooler so my husband wanted to try a dry bag to keep the water in the bag and out of the food. It worked great and we're so happy with the results.
