If you want to get a fire going where you’ve set up your tarp, make sure it isn’t too close to the canvas, as flying sparks can burn holes in the fabric.

If you have a hammock, string the tarp up directly above it for protection from rain or dew.

This tarp has 21 webbing loops with reinforced stitching. On two sides facing each other, the loops are a quarter of the way along and in the middle of the side. On the other 2 sides, the loops are a third of the way along and in the middle of the side.

This bag and its lining are made from polyester. This choice is based on the strength of this fabric, which is resistant to rubbing and wear, ensuring long-lasting durability. For this model, we’ve added 10 mm of foam to the adjustable waistband, while the shoulder straps are slim so as not to interfere with shoulder shooting. Although it is not suitable for rain showers, coated fabric provides protection against light rain.

Compatible with the X-ACCESS system, this bag makes it easy to attach accessories or pockets to the front or sides to increase carrying capacity.

What is the X-Access concept?

The bag has a main compartment that opens and closes with a zip. There are also 2 elasticated pockets on each side, 1 zipped inside pocket and 1 inside pocket for a 2 L water pouch with nozzle loop. The net in the pocket at the bottom of the bag can be unfolded to accommodate small game or bulky clothing, for example.

For a snug, comfortable fit, in addition to the hip belt, you can also adjust the height of the chest. The bag sits snugly against your body. What’s more, this model has been laboratory-tested with a 7 kg load and 10,000 pull cycles on the shoulder straps. 

A smartphone can also be kept in the side pockets. 

Lastly, note that the fabric does not absorb moisture: it protects against light rain.

The first factor to consider when choosing a surfing wetsuit is the water temperature. Water temperature varies depending on the location and time of year. Keep these guidelines in mind: Water above 20°C.
Water between 17 and 22°C.
Water between 12 and 17°C.
Water between 7 and 12°C.

How to choose a wetsuit Part 1

The second thing to consider is the length of your sessions. Our 100 models are suitable for sessions of up to 1 hour. For 1-2 hours, opt for a 500 wetsuit; for 2-3 hours, go for a 900. Wetsuits with a higher model number are warmer, more watertight, and better at reducing irritation and fatigue The same is true for the 900 models, compared with the 500 models.
Note: The 900 models are easier to put on.

How to choose a wetsuit Part 2

To get the most out of your wetsuit, it’s important to choose the right size. A surfing wetsuit should fit snugly and have no visible folds. It’s normal for the suit to feel too tight when dry; this discomfort will disappear once you’re in the water. If you choose a suit that's too big, creases will form and irritation will appear.

Choosing a size

Materials

The neck is designed to limit irritation. If you have sensitive skin, consider wearing a UV-resistant top under the wetsuit to reduce rubbing and chafing. To prevent chafing during longer outings, we recommend applying petroleum jelly around your neck and underarms. Make sure the flap is always inside the wetsuit to limit the risk of irritation with the zipper and the neck.
