How does my product warranty work?

This product is repairable We commit to repairing your product free of charge during the 5 years of the warranty. If you need the seams, zippers, or another element repaired, contact your store. Will these pants protect me in bad weather?

This product was designed and constructed with components that keep the water out and reduce wind chill. These pants have been tested on the slopes in all conditions to verify their waterproofing.

Why are my pants water-repellent?

The water-repellent treatment applied to the outer surface makes water run off the fabric without seeping in. The fabric does not soak up water and stays light and warm. This treatment must be renewed during the life of the product, after 2 or 3 washes on average. All our waterproof pants designed for skiers and snowboarders are water-repellent.

Water often gets in through the seams. Do my pants have waterproof seams?

In addition to the waterproof fabric, we enhance the waterproofing of the pants with taped seams. These heat-bonded waterproof strips are placed on the seams inside the clothing to make it perfectly watertight. These pants have taped seams in the areas most exposed to snow—seat and hips.

How do my pants keep me warm?

To keep you warm, we use wadding insulation. Wadding is a synthetic component made from polyester that stores air depending on the length of the fibres. Wadding can be standard, hi-tech, or silicone-coated, each with different properties (warmth, low weight, elasticity, etc.). SNB 100 Snowboard Pants have Warmseat technology, which increases insulation in the seat by 54% when sitting in the snow.

Coated pants: what are the advantages of the coating?

A breathable coating is applied to a fabric in the form of a paste or liquid, creating a protective film. The breathable coating is a waterproof barrier that lets through water vapour produced by the body.

How should you wash your pants?

For optimum performance and durability, care for your product as follows: *Machine wash at 30°C on a synthetics cycle. *Turn the product inside-out. *Use a small amount of detergent. Do not use fabric softener. *Do not use a spin cycle. *Hang to dry. Do not dry clean. Do not place on a heater or radiator. You can restore the water resistance of the outer fabric with a fabric waterproofing spray. Read the care label.

How should I dress to avoid getting cold in the mountains?

To keep your legs warm and dry, two layers of clothing are enough: - a ski base layer to wick away perspiration. - ski pants to protect against bad weather and provide warmth.

How can I prevent snow from getting in my pants?

These pants have elastic gaiters at the ankles to cover your boots. The seal created by the gaiters keeps the snow out.
