To ensure optimal maintenance, we recommend that you follow these 3 steps: 
1. degrease your drive train
2. clean your bike
3. lubricate your chain

How to look after your bike:

This all-weather chain lube is designed for doing step 3. Once you've applied the degreaser (step 1), spray the bike with the cleaner and rinse and dry it (step 2), then apply your bike lube (step 3). Your bike will be as good as new.

How to use this product: 

Remember to degrease your chain before greasing it in order to remove any residue that could make abrasive contact with your drivetrain. This will help your equipment last longer and save you money.

Check the sidewall for tire information (diameter and width). For example, 27.5 x 1.90 means a tire with a 27.5” diameter that is 1.90” wide.
The dimensions in mm (ETRTO international unit) are also on the tire sidewall.
For example 50-584 means the tire is 50 mm wide with an inner diameter of 584 mm (or 27.5 x 1.90).

How to choose your inner tube

Remove the old inner tube using Btwin tire levers.

Removing an inner tube

Check the condition of your tire and replace it if necessary. 
Make sure no objects are lodged in the tire.
Check the condition of your tire rim strip.
A rim strip that’s even slightly bent can cause punctures.
Check that your rim doesn’t have any other issues that could damage your inner tube.

Checks to carry out before installing an inner tube

Watch our video before you start.
Pre-inflate the inner tube slightly to avoid pinching.
Make sure you’re using the correct valve for your rim and then insert it.
Put the entire inner tube inside the tire so that it fits inside the rim.
Take care not to pinch the inner tube when installing it.

Installing the inner tube

Start installing the tire at the valve.
Finish installing the tire across from the valve to avoid pinching the inner tube.
Never install your tire with a tool or a tire lever, as you risk pinching or puncturing the inner tube.

Carefully inflate your tire to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer (visible on the tire sidewall in PSI or bars: 1 bar = 14.51 PSI).
Regularly check that your tire is in the correct position as you inflate it.

Using the chain cleaner is quick and easy, and becomes a real pleasure.

This chain cleaner is designed for cleaning your bike chain quickly and effectively. Can be used on all types of chains and bikes.

Press the push button on the bottom compartment while pulling on the top part with the other hand.
Place the chain between the two parts of the cleaner and close them by fitting the top part into the bottom part.
Install the hook on your derailleur hanger.
Pour the degreaser through the hole at the top, observing the recommended level (around 9 ml [1/3 oz.]).
Clean your chain by turning the pedals anti-clockwise.

Leave for a few minutes. Complete the degreasing process with a few pedal turns.
Remove your chain cleaner.
We recommend that you rinse and dry your chain thoroughly before applying any lubricant.
To ensure that your chain cleaner works at its best, it is important to position your bike (on the ground or on a stand) so that your chain is as horizontal as possible.

For optimal results:

This chain cleaner has been designed to give you good efficiency while using much less product than its predecessor.
The previous model required 45 ml (1 1/2 oz.), whereas this one only needs 9 ml (1/3 oz.). So, with a 500 ml (1/2 qt.) canister you can do about 55 cleans (compared to about 15 with the previous one).

How much degreaser should you use?

After use, to maintain its effectiveness, remove the foam from the chain cleaner (located on the front), rinse, and wring out.
Rinse the castors and compartments with clean water, leave to dry, and wipe.

The foam will show marks from the first few passes of the chain, but this will in no way detract from its usefulness.

Use the vegetable chain degreaser for greater efficiency.
Renew your degreaser as soon as it is blackened. 
Collect your used degreaser and dispose of it at a waste disposal centre.
