How to stay warm and dry while cross-country skiing
We recommend the three-layer technique. Layer 1: A technical base layer that wicks away moisture to keep your skin dry. Layer 2: An insulating layer (T-shirt, fleece) that provides warmth and wicks moisture outward. Layer 3: An outer layer (jacket) that protects against the elements (wind, snow, cold). Adjust the number of layers to suit the intensity of your activity and the weather. Make sure your clothing is breathable.
