What are the benefits of polyester?
Polyester is a commonly used fibre in base garments, because it’s relatively inexpensive and offers excellent performance in many ways, and especially because it is a lightweight, durable fabric. It actively absorbs moisture but does not dry particularly well when wet.

I love this and wear it every time I go alpine skiing. It the temperature is above -15C, I use this as a mid layer with a tight base layer under it, then my insulated ski jacket.

2 Wears ....2 Washes ....and large patches of the material have 'Fluffed up' leaving white bobbles of material close together looking like fluffy balled up areas all around the neck and down the chest, and at the rear. This garment now looks years old and worn out after only
2 wears. I hope to return it at some stage. However, as my nearest Decathlon is a 200 mile round trip it will have to wait until I can justify the journey and hopefully this review will evidence just when and how quickly after purchase the product failed
