Special visor helmet feature
Visor helmets are comfortable and practical. However, we recommend them more for moderate-speed skiers. They are less windproof than a mask, which moulds to your nose and face. If you are a very fast skier, air can get inside and cause discomfort. For optimal airtightness, wear the visor as low as you can. If that isn’t possible, this helmet is not for you.
Fit
Take plenty of time to try it on properly. You should feel no discomfort from the helmet or around the visor. If you do, try a different one. If you wear glasses, try on the helmet with the pair you plan to wear while skiing, then open and close the visor to check for any obstructions or discomfort. Fogging is not caused by the helmet. Use an anti-fog treatment on your glasses.
Which size?
* Measure the circumference of your head in centimetres (around the middle of the forehead, just above the ears). * Then choose the size that corresponds to this measurement. Example: For a head circumference of 56 cm (22”), try a helmet in size 55 cm-59 cm (21.5”–23”).
Adjustment dial
Use the adjustment dial to secure your helmet. The dial can be easily adjusted while wearing gloves. It also provides comfort and maximum safety. Turn the dial to the right to tighten and to the left to loosen.
ABS structure
The helmet has an injection-moulded, ABS outer shell to withstand powerful impacts. Durable and resistant to impact. The internal Epos skullcap absorbs impact during collisions. Change your ski helmet at least every 5 years or after any major impact.
EN 1077 standard
Helmets used for head protection when downhill skiing and snowboarding are required to meet European standards. The standards test the helmet’s ability to absorb shocks and resist perforation. The two categories are: - Class A: Protects the top and back of the head as well as the ears and side of the head .- Class B: Protects the top and back of the head but does not cover the ears.
Helmet adjustment
When skiing, your helmet should be properly fitted and adjusted: * It is essential to choose the right size. * The head circumference should be adjusted using the adjustment dial. * The chinstrap must be properly adjusted. It’s a bit like a car seat belt: if it’s too loose, it won’t protect you.
Safety
For optimal protection, avoid wearing a thick hat under your helmet that could cause the helmet to shift on your head. Wear a thin beanie or balaclava instead. Helmets have good insulating properties. Often, nothing else is needed. Do not attach a camera to your helmet, as it could affect your safety. The standard does not take into account any elements added to the helmet.
Compatibility with prescription glasses
Everyone should be able to enjoy skiing, including people who wear prescription glasses. Wedze designed this helmet with a visor to make it more practical than over-the-glasses ski masks. The size of some glasses make them incompatible with certain helmets. Head to your Decathlon store to try on helmets with your glasses.
Care instructions
The removable comfort foam inserts are machine-washable at 30°C.

Super achat.

Good overall but no way to protect visor when not in use, easily scratches needs a cover. Also the helmet is not the warmest. Linning quite thin compared to other ski helmets owned so not very warm.
