Design

We've improved the Soccer Classic Goal by taking your reviews into account. Along with our design team, we've improved the goal by giving it a cataphoresis treatment, which means we can guarantee it against corrosion for 5 years.

Regulations

This soccer goal weighs less than 18 kg (40 lb) and complies with French regulations to help keep young players safe.

Durability test

When designing the Classic Goal, we carried out Kipsta-specific tests that guarantee product durability, stability, and safety. For example, to assess a product's solidity, we perform load tests in our laboratory that reproduce a child's weight. During this test, we apply a 63 kg (139 lb) load (for size L) to the goal to check that it doesn't get deformed.

Resistance and stability tests

To test the durability of the hooks that hold the net in place, our test engineers helped us set up a fatigue test. We were able to verify that, over the course of 5000 cycles, the hooks don't break. After observing soccer players on the field, we were inspired to develop tests for goal stability. Now we perform tipping tests on our entire collection of goals to make sure they can tip as far as 25° without going over.
