Isothermal
This product was lab-tested according to the EN 12546-2 standard, at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice packs, when half full. It took 7 hours to go from 5°C (food temperature straight from the fridge) to 15°C. With a 1.2 kg (2.6 lb) ice pack, the time was 10 hours under the same conditions.
Capacity
Volume: 20 litres. Recommended for 2 to 4 people. There’s a system inside for keeping your bottles upright during transport. There’s a separate zipper pocket on the outside so you can keep your belongings dry and away from food in the cooler (wallet, keys, map, camera, etc.). The cooler also has 2 outside mesh pockets.

Waterproofing
This backpack is not waterproof inside. The bottom doesn’t hold in water. Sometimes condensation may seep through the seams. However, this rarely happens and won’t damage your food.
Directions for use
You can put ice packs in your bag to keep your food cold for longer. When packing your bag, we recommend placing food that needs to stay cold at the bottom of the bag.To increase the cooler’s thermal performance, we recommend only opening it when necessary and closing it quickly.
How is the bag’s volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: the main compartment and all the pockets are filled with little balls. These balls are then emptied into a graduated container to get the equivalent volume in litres.

Great backpack to keep your food and water cool

This backpack keeps everything cool for quite a while. The more cold packs you put in it, the better. I used this backpack during the last couple of hot days we had, and everything inside was nice and cool for hours.

Les bretelles ne sont pas confortables ni pour moi ni pour mon conjoint (gabarits différents). Le sac n'est pas vraiment isotherme, malgré 4 icepacks insérés à l'intérieur. Le format est intéressant, la pochette dans le couvercle est pratique.
