Choosing the same size as the previous halter or bridle is recommended based on the horse's head shape and size.
Generally:
SHT: shetland.
PS: pony (10.8 to 12.7 hh).
CS: large pony (12.7 to 14.7 hh)/small horse.
FS: horse (14.7 to 16.5 hh).
XFS: horse (over 16.5 hh and draught horses)

Choosing the right size

Does the horse tend to pull violently when tethered? We recommend attaching your leadrope with a string on a ring and using a panic snap hook to quickly release your horse to relieve anxiety. (leadrope sold separately)

We ensure our halters and leadropes have a tensile strength of at least 200 kg (441 lb) so the horse won't easily break away.
If horse pulls hard when tethered, our halters and leadropes will release to prevent injuring the horse.
