You can use the grams per square metre in the description to determine the thickness. This primarily affects the drape and feel: the heavier the pants are, the straighter they fall and the better they look.However, a heavier weight doesn’t necessarily guarantee more warmth.The brushed knit is lighter per square metre but it’s also warmer because it traps air.

What does this patch kit contain?

In the blink of an eye, repair holes and tears of several centimetres on your favourite fabrics: tent, backpack, sleeping bag, non-stretch t-shirt, shoes, rugs for horses, tarpaulins, or other clothing. 
The ideal solution for flat surfaces. Give your equipment a new lease of life.

What can you repair with these patches?

These patches can withstand 10 washes at 30°C without weakening and offer a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm H2O (Schmerbers). The glue adapts to various materials and the patch resists abrasion.
The watertightness can vary depending on the component you apply to the patch.

How strong are these patches?

Step 1: clean and dry the area with holes.
Step 2: peel off the patch without touching the adhesive. 
Step 3: Press the patch down firmly starting in the middle and moving to the edges. 
Step 4: you’re done.
Small secret: patience helps repairs. Is the patch too big? Adjust it by cutting it in a circle with 2 cm (0.8”) of margin.

How to apply the repair patches

To ensure the patch adheres better to your waterproof products, we recommend applying it to the inner part where this is possible.
