This is the highest level of resistance in our glute band collection. It is ideal when you want to push yourself to the limit and effectively strengthen the muscles of the lower body: hamstrings, glutes, thighs, and adductor muscles.

Perform 3 to 5 rounds of the circuit below, with 1 to 2 minutes recovery time at the end of each round:

Ab Wheel dimensions

We tested the Ab Wheel with 25 beginner and advanced users, comparing it with the traditional ab wheel. 
All the beginners found the movement easier with the Ab Wheel and were able to extend their movement by an extra 7 cm (2.75”). Users maintained a better lumbar curve while working their abs just as hard.
And the pad protects your knees!

Why use this ab wheel?

You can adjust the length of the strap as you progress: extend the strap as the exercise gets easier. The little pad connected to the strap allows beginners to place their knees properly and train comfortably.
When the strap is no longer useful to you, just take it off!

What makes this an adjustable wheel?

Start with the strap at its shortest setting. Place your knees on the pad and lower your entire body forward, including your hips. If it is too easy, you can extend the strap. The markings on the strap allow you to observe your progress.
Do not let your hips sink down or arch your back.
The maximum weight supported is 110 kg (242.5 lb).

Use your the Ab Wheel safely

Adjust the strap to do high-quality reps: do not arch your back.
Do 3 sets of 5 reps, adding one rep during each workout until you reach 3 sets of 10 reps.
Adjust the strap and start again with 3 sets of 6 reps. Keep this up until you can remove the strap!
Use the wheel 2-3 times a week and complete your workout with other exercises.

Our designers revamped this foam pad for Pilates workouts (alignment, placement, comfort).

Length

It enhances your comfort. For example, if you feel wrist strain, you can place your hands on the pad with your fingers on the floor.
It can also create a slight amount of instability to intensify the effort of your postural muscles without making it too difficult.
Finally, it helps you find the right placement. For example, sitting on the pad makes it easier to find proper alignment for your back.
