Maximum hydration for greater independence

As for the tube, it is 100 cm long, but if it is too long, you can cut it to the length that suits you!

To design this jacket, we studied thermal images of runners. We used two technologies to make you more comfortable:
- Softshell technology for keeping you warm and protecting you from wind and light rain; 
- Technology used at the arms and back for effectively wicking away perspiration.

This running jacket's component offers a wide array of protective qualities, allowing you to run in almost any weather: cold, windy, and rainy (just a light rain as the seams are not sealed).

A technical component: windproof and waterproof

Hidden in the sleeves, the mittens with windproof and water-repellent material are great for keeping your hands warm, but only when you need it. And it's magic: you can keep an eye on your watch data as you're putting on the mittens!
This new cuff structure enhances ventilation in the area by allowing air to enter through the wrist.

The jacket has a lightweight and windproof/water-repellent ergonomic hood. Composed of fine material, with no drawstring, the hood is very light and you'll forget all about it once it's stowed in the collar.

Our design teams managed to improve this jacket's ventilation by 12% compared to the previous version, by optimising airflow. This allows you to stay warm during the warm-up while managing your thermal regulation when exercise gets more intense.

There are 5 pockets at the front of this 10 L trail running bag: 2 pockets for 500 ml (17 fl oz) soft flasks (not included), a patented, waterproof phone pocket, as well as 2 pockets for your gels or cereal bars. In addition, we added 2 side pockets and 4 rear pockets: 1 kangaroo pocket, but also a large compartment with a side zipper which contains its own zippered pocket, as well as a large pocket designed for the 1 L (34 fl oz) water bladder (included).

10 L and eleven pockets

If we consider that we drink an average of 500 ml of water per hour of effort when running (and trail running in this case) and that this backpack lets you carry 2 L (68 fl oz) of water, you will thus be able to keep running for 4 hours. Handy, right? Therefore, with the 1 L back pocket (which we will discuss in a minute) and the two front pockets for holding 500 ml flasks, you can run stress-free between refuelling stops!

A bag designed to keep you hydrated with minimal hassle

This trail running backpack, with a 10 L capacity, has a specific holder for a 1 L water bladder on the back. Included in the sale price and attachable with a hook, it can be used at temperatures between -20 and +40°C, for water only (avoid milk and alcohol; not microwave safe). You can also cut the tube to your preferred length and attach the tip to the magnet on the front of the bag, or with the 2 elasticated strips on each side.

Focus on the water bladder

Since poles are a key bit of kit for many trail runners, our 10 L trail running backpack comes with a built-in quiver attachment system (quiver sold separately).
And for fans of the traditional method, we added two elastic adjustment strips at the front to attach your trail poles vertically. Thanks to these two ingenious systems, you can carry and store your poles according to your preference... and the slope!

2 PATENTED TECHNOLOGIES TO OPTIMISE THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS BACKPACK... AND YOUR OWN!

You will find a barcode in the rear zipped pocket: scan it to find a wealth of information all about the backpack. The lacing on the back of this unisex vest is a little design touch introduced by our garment designer. We love it (both the design and the designer, of course). In addition, the front right pocket holds a 110 db whistle, an essential item for many outdoor races, especially in the mountains.

A backpack with an eye for detail

As regards the maintenance of your trail running bag, we recommend hand-washing, but also removing the magnet (used to attach the tip of your drinking tube to the 1 L water bladder) before cleaning it. After washing, dry your bag and store it in a dry place. 
As regards the water bladder, ensure you do not leave water in the bladder for more than 24 hours. Rinse it with fresh water after use and let it dry before storing it away.

Keeping warm is great, but staying at the right temperature throughout your training session is better. We designed this jacket based on thermal regulation research conducted in the laboratory. 
We therefore used more breathable components on the high-perspiration areas to facilitate moisture evacuation and stop you from feeling cold at the end of the session.

Waterproof up to 10,000 Schmerbers thanks to their component and taped seams. This jacket has been validated in a shower test: the fabric can resist up to 10,000 mm of water pressure after 5 washes. 
Our waterproof membrane is not made for rugged vegetation (branches, brambles, etc.), so be careful when running through forests!
For superior comfort, the pants have a drawcord at the waist to hold them in place when running.

What waterproofing features does it offer?

Extremely breathable fabric (RET < 6) thanks to its membrane.
To find out if a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance (RET) based on the ISO 11092 standard. The lower the fabric’s resistance, the more sweat generated by physical activity can escape and the higher the fabric’s breathability. For example: - RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric 9 < RET < 12 = very breathable fabric 12 < RET < 20 = breathable fabric RET > 20 = little or no breathability.

What about the BREATHABILITY?

The design team designed these waterproof trail-running pants to protect you from wind and rain. 
Wear these pants over another pair to stay dry as possible: such as short or long running tights.

Wear 1 or 2 layers:

Washing: handwash in lukewarm water or in the washing machine on a short, delicate cycle (30°), using a small quantity of liquid detergent and a slow spin. Do not use powder detergent, fabric softener, or bleach. 
Drying: reshape the garment and leave to air dry. 
When completely dry, you can tumble dry at low temperature on a short and cold/delicate program to restore water repellency.

Washing and cleaning instructions

Our design teams developed this men's running jacket for running in cold weather.

When designing this jacket, we studied thermal images of runners with engineers at Oxylane Research. As a result, the jacket’s quilted front panel acts as a windbreak and the fabric of the rear panel provides wicking.
