Barefoot shoes reproduce the natural feeling of walking barefoot and support children’s healthy foot development. Barefoot shoes let feet grow without forcing them into a rigid shape, changing the way they grow. A barefoot shoe means high flexibility, a thin sole with a 0 drop and a wider front.

Created after three years of research and development with input from 11 children's health professionals, we designed a pair of shoes especially for kids: they provide the optimal amount of torsion for smooth foot motion, good flex and pared-down cushioning for a near-barefoot feel!

It’s especially important for kids to wear proper sun protection. For identical exposure, the effects of the sun are 2 to 3 times stronger on a child than on an adult. It is therefore important to protect them effectively.

UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) is an international standard that measures 
the proportion of UV rays a fabric lets through to your skin. 
A UPF of 50+ means that the fabric blocks at least 98% of UVB rays and 95% of UVA rays.

What does UPF 50+ mean?

This T-shirt protects against UV rays, but it doesn’t provide complete sun protection. It is essential to consider other factors such as reflections of the sun (off sand, water, etc.), temperature, and time of day. For example, wear a hat and sunglasses, regularly apply sunscreen, and stay hydrated.

How will these gloves keep my child’s hands warm?

Fleece is designed to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture. This air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm. It is the brushing of the knit fabric that traps the air.

How does the fleece protect from the cold?

When active, the body generates heat that is preserved by your clothing’s thermal insulation. If your clothing is inadequate, your body cools, and circulation to your hands and feet drops to keep your upper body warm. Your outfit therefore has a role to play in keeping your hands as warm as possible.
If you’re unsure about size, it’s always better to choose a pair of mittens that are slightly too big than too small.
