To ensure a perfect fit in the water, it is important to choose the right size while you are dry, because once they are in the water, swimsuits become looser. We suggest making sure you buy the correct size. The swimsuit needs to fit snugly against your body in the fitting room: you should feel supported. The spandex content in certain components used in our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.

We partnered with a physiotherapist to understand how to design our clothing to give kids more autonomy. “The challenge is to prevent kids from getting discouraged. They need small victories to encourage them to keep going and repeat actions until they become automatic,” explains Agathe, our partner physiotherapist.

1 - Set the back height adjuster to your child’s height in cm (remove the hook and loop tab strap and thread it through the loop in the colour you want to use). 
2 - Loosen all the straps (shoulder straps, belt, load adjuster straps).
3 - Put the backpack on.  4 - Tighten the shoulder straps. 
5 - Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed.

How to adjust the backpack

Put your bedding at the bottom. Place heavy equipment against your back. Pack your clothes around these items. The groundsheet can be placed under the elastic above the cover. Keep a waterproof or fleece jacket within reach in the elastic pocket on the front. Put small items that you frequently use (e.g., sunscreen, map, sunglasses) in the pockets. 
The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided down the back.

How to fill the backpack

The guarantee covers any defects in your product, except those caused by normal wear and tear and improper use. This special 10-year warranty can only be granted upon presentation of the product and receipt. If the product is covered by the warranty, we’ll repair or exchange it free of charge. This commercial warranty does not affect any statutory warranty that is applicable in the country or state of purchase.

We carried out a comparative study in a thermal laboratory in walking conditions in light winds (5 km/h). 
The comfort temperature is the calculated air temperature where 70% of users have a slightly warm thermal sensation.
For these pants, it’s 2.5°C.
However, everyone feels the cold differently.

How do these pants keep my child warm?

In winter, it is important to protect from moisture (snow, rain) and wind, because they can significantly cool the body whether moving or at rest. The windproof, water-repellent outer fabric keeps kids in all winter conditions. Plus, the ankle tabs keep snow out.

How do these pants protect from outdoor conditions?

Water repellency is a fabric’s capacity to make water run off its surface without being absorbed. It prevents the fabric from soaking up water, keeping it lightweight, warm, and breathable. Water repellency is achieved by treating the fabric’s exterior. The garment should be retreated over its lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products for this purpose (spray or liquid) are available in our stores.

What is water repellency and how can you maintain it?

Whatever your cold-weather activity, use the three-layer technique:
Layer 1: A high-tech base layer to wick moisture away from the body and keep your skin dry.
 Layer 2: A fleece jacket or sweater to provide warmth and transfer moisture outward.
 Layer 3: A jacket to protect against the elements (rain, snow, and wind). 
To eliminate moisture, the whole outfit must be breathable.

How to dress properly for hiking in the snow

We conduct tests on the selected components: resistance to rubbing and abrasion, colourfastness, and resistance to repeated washing. All these tests were conducted on the pant material.
