Beginner surfers

The fabric of these UV-protection leggings blocks at least 98% of UVB rays and 95% of UVA rays (UPF 50+). This guarantees effective protection. Ideal for water sports, it can be worn in or out of the water. 
The density of the textile fibres filters out UV rays for long-lasting protection, even after washing.The elastane may deteriorate in chlorinated water.

What does UPF 50+ mean?

The fitted waistband helps the leggings stay in place even when you fall into the waves. The cord at the front of the waistband is designed to be tied to a UV-protection T-shirt to keep it from riding up. This cord does not tighten the waist.
We recommend wearing a women’s top 500 anti-UV rash guard (available with short or long sleeves) in addition to these leggings for extra protection.

Multi water sports UV-protection leggings

Anti-UV leggings are a smart choice, but they don’t provide complete sun protection. It’s essential to consider other factors, such as reflections (off sand, water, etc.), temperature, and time of day, when you’re out in the sun. How comfortable is this backpack?

This backpack is water-repellent. In light rain, water will roll off without penetrating it. However, it is not completely waterproof. If the rain goes on too long or is too heavy, water will seep through. For extra protection, choose our 10–20 L rain cover (ref. 8772113).

How to choose your rash guard (Part 1)

1 hour: Occasional practice. Choose either a loose fit (easy to put on, comfortable when dry) or a tight fit (comfortable when wet). Look for a loop system so you can fasten the rash guard to your shorts.
2 hours: Regular practice. A rash guard with a drawstring and seamless underarm panels will improve fit and comfort in the water.
3 hours: Intensive practice. A style with added warmth will let you stay out longer.

How to choose a UV protection T-shirt (Part 2: )

This rash guard reduces chafing against your surfboard or bodyboard. Its loose fit makes it easier to put on and more comfortable when dry. Choose the fitted 100 or 500 model if you prefer comfort when wet or plan to wear it under a wetsuit. Shown to reduce chafing during 1-hour sessions. If you plan to surf for longer, our 500 UV rash guard with seamless underarm panels is a better choice.

This rash guard has a front loop that attaches to the cord of your swim shorts to keep it from riding up while you surf. Ideal for sessions of up to an hour. For more than 1 hour, we recommend choosing the 500 UV top, which also has a drawstring at the hips for better stability. A rash guard can cause irritation on the lower abdomen if it rides up.

Support and stability in waves

This rash guard is recommended for use in water temperatures of 22°C and up. Air temperature may affect this recommendation. 
Our thermal models are made of fleece, neoprene, or both. We recommend choosing a model made with neoprene if you’ll be out in conditions where the wind exceeds 15 km/h.

When hiking, it’s important to regulate moisture as best you can. If your shoe is breathable, it will wick away moisture more easily, so you can choose an absorbent, breathable sock. If your shoes are relatively waterproof, you’ll want to make a different choice: you need a sock that will absorb and wick perspiration away.

Choosing the right hiking socks

This sock comes in 3 lengths. The low sock reaches slightly above the shoes but under the ankles. They’re designed to be worn with low-cut shoes. The mid-height sock stops just above your ankles. Ideally, they’re worn with shoes with low uppers.  The high sock is best for shoes with medium or high uppers as it covers your ankle completely, stopping just below the calf.

Aluminum is not an insulating material. Use a specially designed insulating cover if you want to keep liquids cool in your water bottle.
You can put hot drinks in this bottle, but they will cool down quickly. Suitable for carbonated drinks.
Do not use with liquids that contain fats (dairy products, oils) or acidic drinks (fruit juice, energy drinks). Do not freeze or microwave. Do not expose to open flames or other heat sources.

Directions for use

The top is easy to open with one hand—just press the white button. When carrying the water bottle, you can lock the top by sliding the white button down. A red area will appear, indicating that the top is locked. It also has a filter for infusing fruits or other flavours and a built-in carrying handle.
