Why work on your balance?

As well as balance, this versatile accessory lets you do a whole load of other targeted exercises. Strengthen your obliques with the oblique rollback and side bend. What else can it do?

The golden rule is to never feel the ground under your feet. If you can, you need to inflate it with our pump (ref: 8556016, sold separately). The secret lies in getting the air pressure right. The more your cushion is inflated, the less you'll work your balance; the less it is inflated, the more you'll work your balance.Start with it pumped up more, then gradually let air out to up the intensity. Your cushion will adapt as you get fitter, making every session unique and keeping you motivated!

The size of your Swiss ball depends on your height! 
If you’re less than 1.60 m (5’2”) tall and weigh less than 85 kg (187 lb), then size 1 (55 cm/22” diameter) is just what you need. 
The ball weighs 2 kg (4.4 lb).

Is the size 1 Swiss ball the right one for you?

We recommend using a pump, which is sold separately (product ref. 8214626 or 8490986). Fully inflate your exercise ball and use a tape measure to check the diameter. 
For the size 1 ball, do not exceed 55 cm (22”) in diameter. 
Check that it is pumped up correctly by sitting on it: your knees should be at hip height.

How to safely inflate your Swiss ball

Your Swiss ball comes with: 
- Two plugs (in case you lose one) 
- A plug remover to help you easily remove the plugs when inflating or deflating the ball 
- A tape measure to make sure your Swiss ball is correctly inflated
