If you’re carrying electronic devices or important documents, we recommend doubling the protection by using a waterproof pouch (IPX8) or a second, smaller dry bag that fits inside your bag.

Ensure all bags are properly closed and check water resistance with paper towel before hitting the water.
Do not swim with the bag neither immerse it underwater.

Precautions for electronic devices

To ensure good water resistance: 
1/ Press the two parts of the opening against one another.

2/ Make four folds towards the front until the bag’s weld line is concealed. 
3/ Fasten the two buckles at the top to secure the strap over the eyelets.

Leave some air in the bag. It is more waterproof when inflated and floats for easy retrieval if dropped in the water.

At the beginner level, you are just learning to surf or surf only a few times a year. You ride small or broken waves in shallow bodies of water where your feet touch the bottom. We offer a wide range of swimwear for beginners of all body types.

Beginner surfers

All our UV-resistant rash guards are UPF 50+, meaning they offer maximum sun protection. 
The sleeve lengths vary, and they’re suitable for different water sports. That said, our line was primarily designed to meet the specific needs of surfers. 
Choose your rash guard based on the duration of your surf session: 1 hour, 2 hours, or 3 hours.

How to choose your rash guard (Part 1)

1 hour: Occasional practice. Choose either a loose fit (easy to put on, comfortable when dry) or a tight fit (comfortable when wet). Look for a loop system so you can fasten the rash guard to your shorts.
2 hours: Regular practice. A rash guard with a drawstring and seamless underarm panels will improve fit and comfort in the water.
3 hours: Intensive practice. A style with added warmth will let you stay out longer.

How to choose a UV protection T-shirt (Part 2: )

This Olaian rash guard blocks at least 98% of UVB rays and 95% of UVA rays (UPF 50+), guaranteeing effective protection from the sun. Ideal for water sports, they can be worn in or out of the water. The density of the textile fibres filters out UV rays for long-lasting protection, even after washing. Chlorine-resistant.

UV protection

UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) is an international standard that measures   the proportion of UV rays a fabric lets through to your skin. A UPF of 50+ means that the fabric blocks at least 98% of UVB rays and 95% of UVA rays.

What does UPF 50+ mean?

Our UV T-shirts meet the needs of the most demanding surfers. They’re also compatible with many other water sports, including kitesurfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, and stand-up paddle boarding.

Suitable for multiple water sports

This top is UV-resistant, but it doesn’t provide total sun protection. Consider other factors like reflections (off water, sand, etc.), temperature, and time of day. Wearing this top is just one part of staying safe in the sun. You should also wear sunglasses and a hat or cap, apply sunscreen regularly, and drink plenty of water.

Electronic devices are fragile and valuable. We recommend doubling up their protection by putting phones in waterproof pouches inside dry bags. Cameras can be put in a small dry bag (5L or 10L) placed inside a large dry bag (20L, 30L, 40L, 60L). 
Ensure your bags are closed and check water resistance regularly before your session using a paper towel.

To ensure good water resistance: 
1/ roll the top of the bag over carefully 5 times, folding tightly over the width of the strap 
2/ fasten the central buckle 
3/ fasten the side buckles 

Leave some air in the bag. The bag should appear inflated once closed: this makes it more watertight and allows it to float if dropped in the water.

The 2 compression straps on the body of the bag can be used to attach the backpack to a SUP or a kayak equipped with fastening loops, enabling you to carry your belongings into the water and protect them.

What about the sizing?

The width of the forefoot has been increased by 3 mm for greater comfort compared to the previous model.
The upper of the EDR Discover shoe ensures even tension with uniform tightening and eliminates pressure points thanks to the hook and loop system.

The EDR Discover features a new fibreglass-reinforced nylon outsole for the optimal balance between efficiency and comfort (stiffness index 6.0 on a scale of 1 to 12).
The outsole has two large ventilation holes in the toe and midfoot areas, allowing for refreshing airflow.

Before setting up, check the direction of the wind. Unfold the windshield and position the two curved feet under your camping stove’s canister.
Wrap the windshield around your camping stove, ensuring there is enough space for your cooking set. 
Stick the pegs in the ground to improve stability and wind resistance, if the terrain allows.

Why is the MT 500 headband more durable?

We use wool from merino sheep bred on farms in South Africa that do not practise mulesing. 
We decided to build a partnership with a group of breeders (Konsortium Merino) to ensure that the sheep whose wool we use for our products live and are shorn in the best conditions.
This means we have full traceability, allowing us to guarantee the wool’s origin.
