How did we increase the durability of these merino wool tights?

For a softer feel, wash your leggings before first use.

Tip before use

We recommend machine washing your merino wool T-shirt at 30°C on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry flat and never tumble dry to avoid shrinkage.

Volume and folded size

R-value is a measure of thermal insulation. It indicates how much heat a material retains or allows to escape.
The higher the R-value, the better the mattress’s insulation.
R-value can be increased: stack two mats to combine their R-values.

All our mats are tested to standard ASTM F3340-18.

What is R-value? 

R-value from 0 to 1.9: Hot season (summer) 
R-value from 2 to 3: 2 or 3 seasons (spring-summer-fall)
R-value from 3 to 4: 4-season
R-value of 4.5 and higher: suitable for use all year round, including freezing conditions.

What R-value do you need?

This lightweight mat is unusually comfortable because the foam is moulded to provide depth and support. Though only 2 cm (0.8”) thick, the mat is supportive and comfortable.

The main part, identified by the roll top and the waterproof label, is IPX6 certified. This means it is resistant to strong water splashes, such as waves. Warning: It isn’t designed to be immersed.

Waterproofing

If you are carrying important electronic devices or documents in the IPX6 waterproof compartment (roll top), we also recommend protecting them with a waterproof pouch (IPX8).
Make sure you close the bag securely and regularly check that it is watertight.
The other compartments and pockets are not waterproof.

Precautions

The bag has a central roll-top fastening system, ideal for protecting your gear from the elements or separating wet and dry items. Roll the central part of the bag at least three times, tightening the folds over the thickness of the strap, then close the side buckles at the bottom. The external zip is practical, but not waterproof.

Fastening system

We designed this bag to be repairable and durable.
If you find a hole, use the repair kit (ref. 8647246).
If a plastic fastener is broken, replace it with a 38 mm split buckle (ref. 1157860).
For a back adjustment buckle, use a 25 mm tightening buckle (ref. 8947280).
