These running gloves feature an extra pair of removable mittens. These supple mittens are made of special innovative fabric that contains aluminum. The fabric reflects body heat while providing protection from the wind.
You can therefore change / adapt your gloves according to the temperature or your sensitivity to it either before or during your run.

The mitten are stored at the wrist and can be taken out easily so you can quickly wrap your hands in them as you run: no need to stop!

The component at the ends of the index and thumb features a special construction.

We selected an ultra-soft imitation suede component to boost:
- efficiency and precision of touchscreen function.
- durability

The quality of conductivity at the index and thumb means that you can use a smartphone. 
The removable membrane does not feature the touchscreen function.

Touchscreen function so you can use your smartphone => how does it work?

In addition to choosing the right size, it is also important to adjust the extremities of the fingers of your gloves (especially the thumb and index finger) to ensure they are correctly positioned and avoid creating creases at the touchscreen parts.

How do I optimize the touchscreen function?

Choosing the right size is essential to:
- run in comfort
- optimize the touchscreen function on the index finger and thumb of the gloves.

About the design and finishes of the hat

To find out how breathable a fabric is, you measure resistance to evaporative transfer (RET). This refers to the fabric’s capacity to expel the water vapour created by the body during exercise, thus preventing the accumulation of moisture on the skin. The lower the RET value, the more breathable the fabric. The component of our multi-purpose warm+V2 neck warmer has a RET of 3.8 on a scale ranging from 0 to 40.

What about the breathability of this multi-purpose warm+ V2 neck warmer?

Since it features a technical component, our product doesn't like the washing machine and high temperatures.
To preserve its technical qualities, we recommend washing the product by hand and letting it air dry.

Running touchscreen function so you can use your smartphone => how does it work?

Every runner may have a different sensitivity to cold. 
Our touchscreen gloves are designed for running in cold weather at temperatures between 5 °C and 10 °C. The comfort temperature is 10 °C.
Our gloves strike the right balance between weight, breathability, and practicality.
If you’d like greater protection, we advise that you opt for our Evolutiv V2 gloves featuring removable membranes (reference 8759614).

We conduct two types of thermal testing: on the fleece material and with a thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber.
These tests reproduce typical mountain conditions (wind, humidity, temperature). They allow us to validate our design and adjust the thermal insulation.

Insulation from the cold

We conduct two types of tests to assess the warmth the fleece provides:
- on the material itself 
- on a thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber We reproduce the temperature, wind (5 km/h) and humidity conditions that you encounter in the mountains when walking at 5 km/h. These tests help validate our design choices, and the entire product then undergoes field tests.

How is warmth measured?

When hiking or during other outdoor activities, it’s perfectly normal to perspire. To prevent your fleece from turning into a sauna, we designed it with a breathable fabric that wicks away moisture from the body. The collar zipper offers adjustable ventilation.

As with all Kiprun lights, we have added a safety mode. When the battery is low, the power is automatically reduced to 25 lumens. This gives you approximately one hour to find another lighting solution.
Continuous flashing will alert you to the situation.
You can plug in an extra battery via the USB connection.
