Putting up and taking down
Inflatable, all-in-one structure with pre-assembled bedroom and flysheet. We recommend using our Quechua Double Action Camping Hand Pump with built-in pressure gauge to inflate the tubes to 7 psi. Sun protection
Our Fresh & Black technology uses UPF 50+ sun protection fabric. Note: a significant amount of UV rays can pass through an open door.
Ventilation
The ventilated flysheet over the living area airs the room and reduces condensation inside the tent. Each bedroom has an exterior ventilation hatch. Each bedroom has a large interior ventilation hatch. The living room comes with a mosquito net and the bedrooms have high mosquito nets.
Wind resistant
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity. Well pitched with the guy ropes properly anchored, this tent remains habitable in a force 7 wind, measured at 60 km/h.
Waterproofing
Our tents are tested to validate their waterproofing. The first test is carried out in the laboratory: 4 hours under 200 L of water/hour/m² (equivalent to a tropical rain shower of 200 mm/hour). The second test is done in the field in real-life conditions. This tent is fitted with a 2,000 mm polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet. The seams are taped using heat-sealed strips. The tent also has a 190 g/m² polyethylene groundsheet.

Warranty
We care about product durability. That’s why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs are available at your Decathlon store’s workshop or on our website. Should you have any issues with this tent, please refer to the After-Sales Service.
Poles and pegs
All our inflatable poles have a two-layer arch structure: a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) air chamber and a 600-denier polyester cover.* Living room reinforcement – The aluminum bar in the living area stiffens the structure. All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm (0.2”). *600 denier indicates a weight of 600 g per 9 m of fabric.

Head turner tent at the campground. It's very roomy inside, cozy to stay and sleep in. It's easy to put and take down but it could be easier. Maybe because it's our 1st time setting it up.we are family of 5 but it's very roomy. We still have lots of space to put our bags in.
We have put this up while it's raining hard but we were very dry inside. This tent has been design intelligently and smart. The quality of it is phenomenal compared to other tents in this class.

Very good tent, quick to setup and stay dry inside. Insulation is very good and ventilation as well (used in high temp in Colorado). Lots of practical features inside. You can use camp beds inside and make yourself comfortable (in our case two adults and a teenager who is rea

Bonjour, j'aimerais apporter une suggestion d'ameliorations pour votre tente famille 5.2 XL Air seconds. j'ai acheter ce produit très récemment, nous avons pu le tester durant 5 jours dans des conditions météorologique qui permet de tester plusieurs aspect de cette tente.
Globalement elle est très bien mais plusieurs point sont à améliorer, notament un point cruccial qui est au niveau des ouvertures latérales donnant sur l'extérieur, une fois ouvertes les moustiques rentre par ces fenêtres et envahissent le salon rapidement, pouvant ensuite nous suivre en quantité dans les chambres. Concevoir une moustiquaires zippé à cette endroit serait bien pensé mais je pense non négligeable. Autres point, une ouverture complète des deux côtés pour la porte d'entrée serait bien aussi. Je pense que développer un catalogue d'options supplémentaire pour vos tentes serait un plus, notamment une extension d'abris "terasse" devant l'entrée avec ou sans moustiquaire. vous souhaitant une bonne journée
