Fresh & Black technology keeps the inside of your tent cooler and darker.
Cooler and darker for a better sleep! Decathlon’s patented Fresh & Black technology uses special materials to reflect the sun’s rays and block the light. This helps keep it cool and dark inside the tent. To make the most of this technology, remember to vent your tent at night!
Tent set up and take down
A classic dome tent structure. Simply use the poles included to set up the tent and fasten the flysheet on top. Insert the 3rd pole in the storage area. To tear down the tent, follow the same steps in reverse.
Mattress compatibility
Recommended for use with self-inflating or trekking mattresses up to 65 cm (25.5″) wide. Inflatable mattresses over 8 cm (3.2″) thick are not recommended for this tent. They take up a lot of room inside and create extra condensation.
Tent ventilation
To allow airflow between the tent and the flysheet and to eliminate natural condensation as much as possible, the tent has 1 air vent at the top, 2 mechanical air vents at the sides, and 1 interior door with a mesh upper section.
Tent waterproofing
All of our tents are tested in the lab and in the field to guarantee the waterproofing. We put the entire tent in a 200 L/h shower for 3 hours. The flysheet is made of 2,000 mm (Schmerber) PU-coated polyester, and the groundsheet is made of 120 g/m² polyethylene. All the seams are sealed with thermo-bonding tape.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating plate to expose all sides to the wind. A tent set up properly with all guy ropes in the right position should be able to withstand winds of up to 40 km/h (25 mph) measured near ground level.
Parts included:
- 1 tent - 1 waterproof flysheet - 3 tent poles (2 black tent poles and 1 turquoise pole for the flysheet) - 12 tent pegs - 4 guy lines - 1 bag
Tent warranty:
This tent was designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during camping trips or outdoor excursions. Constant exposure to UV light for several weeks could damage textile components of the tent. Our tents are not patio furniture and are not designed to be left outdoors permanently. To maximize the useful life of your tent, make sure you store it properly when not in use. 5-year warranty.
Don’t throw it away, repair it!
Our tents are great for camping at night. Over time, they age and some parts may wear out or break. To facilitate repairs, we keep a stock of parts (tent poles, flysheets, bedrooms, etc.) so that they can be easily replaced. Don’t throw it away, repair it!
