To sleep two, you must join two similar sleeping bags.
Designed with a non-removable hood. One of the hoods can’t be used when you join two bags, so turn it down to comfortably sleep two.

The comfort temperature is the lower limit at which the user is in general thermal equilibrium, feeling neither too cold nor too hot (for an average person in normal conditions of use).

Composition

A sleeping bag does not produce heat but retains the heat produced by the body. If you’re cold and you slip into a cold, damp sleeping bag, it’s very likely that you’ll feel cold no matter how good your sleeping bag is! These temperature ratings therefore depend on the user’s resistance to cold, equipment, clothing, and weather conditions.

What you need to know about temperature

Dress lightly (just one layer of clothing is enough). Warm up your extremities: hat, gloves, socks, hand warmers, etc. A hot water bottle can be used as a heater (as long as there’s no risk of it leaking!). Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat), but without making any movements that would create a draft.
You can use a sleeping bag liner so you won’t have to wash your sleeping bag as often.

Tips before getting into your bag

We recommend you use a washing machine with a minimum capacity of 8 kg (17.5 lb) and close the zippers on your sleeping bag.

This sleeping bag is guaranteed for 5 years from the date of sale indicated on the receipt. The product covered by the guarantee will be repaired or exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects excluding any resulting from normal wear and tear or irregular use. The product and sales receipt is required for this special 5-year warranty to be valid.

We’ve designed these waterproof overtrousers for hiking or playing outside, even in the event of rain or changeable weather. Owing to its 10,000 mm Schmerber waterproof fabric (equivalent to a three-hour storm), they will stay dry.

How waterproof is it?

The Schmerber rating measures the waterproofing ability of a fabric. The higher the number, the drier you stay. With 10,000 mm H2O (Schmerbers), these overtrousers can withstand a water column of 10 m! Validated at 4/5 by our shower test, it will keep your children dry for up to  three hours of rain. 

What is the Schmerber?

Designed to withstand all your little explorers' adventures, these overtrousers are made with "Ripstop" fabric. This innovative material prevents tearing, even after a fall or snag.

Are these kids’ overtrousers durable?

Thanks to the practical gussets on the lower leg, your child can put them on quickly, even while wearing their shoes. No need to stop for any length of time when the rain is looming. A simple movement, and off they go! Your little adventurer is ready to continue their explorations, keeping nice and dry.

Are they easy to put on?

When the sun shines, don’t feel weighed down! These clever overtrousers are actually very small. Fold them into the built-in pocket and slip into the bottom of a bag. Compact and discreet, they patiently await their turn.

Can you store them anywhere?

Make the waterproofing properties of your overtrousers last longer! Reactivate every three washes or after 10 uses in the rain. Three easy methods: 
- 15 mins in the tumble dryer (synthetic cycle) ,
- 2 passes over with a hairdryer from 20 cm away

The resistance of a fabric is measured by the height of a water column in mm that can be supported by the fabric (test based on the JIS 1092 standard).The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A component with an impermeability of 5,000 mm will therefore withstand the pressure exerted by 5,000 mm of water (which corresponds roughly to a 1-hour downpour). Waterproofing is expressed in Schmerber units (for example: 5,000 Schmerbers). This number applies before washing.

A coating applied to the fabric makes it waterproof and windproof. Technically, a waterproof fabric is also windproof. Protection from the wind is critical, as wind can chill the body during physical activity.

Windproof effect

Component breathability is measured by its thermal evaporative resistance (RET). 
This allows perspiration to escape during physical activity, preventing it from accumulating on the skin. 
The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. 
RET ≤ 6: very breathable fabric 
RET ≤ 12: breathable fabric 
RET ≤ 20: little breathability
