Carry-on luggage

Begin by adjusting the lumbar belt. The weight should sit mainly on your hips.
Tighten the shoulder straps to bring the weight toward your back.
Attach and tighten the chest strap, then tighten the smaller straps above the shoulders so that the bag sits perfectly on your back.

How to adjust your backpack

The backpack has a protective rain cover.

Protect your bag when it’s raining.

- Empty the bag completely
- Remove the foam and frames from your backpack if you’re sure you can put them back
- Vacuum out any dust
- Put the bag in a bath, shower, or a wash basin
- Use a stiff-bristle brush or a sponge if you have a small backpack
- Wash the bag with soapy water and scrub any stains

- durable fabric (207 g/m²) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (seat, bottom of the leg at the front). This fabric also has stretch. This gives you plenty of freedom of movement.
- lightweight, breathable fabric (150 g/m²) on the rest of the pants.

How to quickly convert the shorts back to pants

We deliberately designed the pockets to close downward.
The zipper does not cause irritation when you tighten your backpack’s waist belt, and your belongings stay safe in your pockets.

Hand pocket opening direction

These pants have water-repellent zones (lower leg at the front and seat) that prevent water from seeping through the fabric. This product is water-repellent, not waterproof.
The water-repellent property slows down water penetration and prevents the pants from getting wet too fast. It won’t keep you dry under constant rain. To stay dry, you need to wear rain pants (ref. number 8504646). Water-repellent properties can be reactivated by putting the pants in the dryer for 10 minutes on low.

What is its storage capacity?

By developing your product, we have enhanced the comfort with adjustable straps and vertical foam pads on the back. The ventilated fabric on the back and straps provides better ventilation. As a bonus: thumb loops.

How comfortable is this backpack?

This backpack is water-repellent. In light rain, water will roll off without penetrating it. However, it is not completely waterproof. If the rain goes on too long or is too heavy, water will seep through. For extra protection, choose our 10–20 L rain cover (ref. 8772113).
