You can use this kit's glue and patches to repair your inflatable camping mattress in the event of a puncture, small tear or leak. 

Suitable for all “Air” inflatable camping mattresses, trekking mattresses, the 10 L solar shower (8513633), the 10 L water container (8513669) and water bladders. 

To identify the leak, use a soapy water spray and watch for bubbles appearing at the leak site.
Once identified, clean and dry the area with a clean cloth.
You can circle the leak with a pen to avoid losing sight of it.

How to identify the leak?

Use the sandpaper only on "velvety" surfaces to remove the "hairs" and get a smooth surface. Do not try to smooth off other types of surfaces.
On a smooth surface, you can use just the patch.
On a more "complex" area (joint, edge, seam), a trekking or self-inflating mattress, use the glue and patch.
Leave the glue to dry for 4 hours before applying the patch. Once the patch is on, you can re-inflate the mattress immediately.

You can store it in a cool, dry place, even in the fridge for optimal storage.

Ecozen® plastic, like aluminum, is not an isothermal material. Use a specially designed insulating cover if you want to keep liquids cool in your bottle. You can put hot drinks in this bottle, but they will cool down quickly.
This water bottle can be used with carbonated drinks. Do not put it in the microwave or freezer.

Directions for use

The top is easy to open with one hand—just press the white button. When carrying the water bottle, you can lock the top by sliding the white button down. A red area will appear, indicating that the top is locked. The water bottle also has a filter, so you can infuse your drink with fruits if you like.
The water bottle is transparent and graduated 200 ml by 200 ml to be able to see the remaining liquid.

Features

Clean your water bottle with regular dish soap and water after every use. The product is also dishwasher safe. Please note that the cap’s seal might come off in the dishwasher. Replace the seal to help keep your bottle watertight. Dry the cap and bottle separately.
For deep cleaning, soak overnight in a mixture of baking soda and water.

- durable fabric (207 g/m²) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (seat, bottom of the leg at the front). This fabric is also stretchy for freedom of movement. It has undergone a water-repellent treatment.

- lightweight, breathable fabric (150 g/m²) on the rest of the pants.

Dual-component structure

These pants have water-repellent zones (lower leg and seat) that prevent water from seeping through the fabric. This product is water-repellent, not waterproof.
The water-repellent pants don’t get wet too fast, but they won’t keep you dry in pouring rain. To restore the water repellent property, tumble dry on low heat for 10 minutes.

Design

In addition to its durability, the rubber material of this cap has a higher grip coefficient on hard ground (road, stones, tree roots).
The V-shaped knobs are designed to provide good grip on soft ground (dirt, mud).

Our other technical choices

Push the cap forcefully onto the tip so the flexible material adapts to the tip. It is important to hit the ground hard 2 to 3 times to ensure full insertion.
The grip on the pole tip has been designed so that the cap does not come off easily when walking. The grip is best on a clean tip but decreases if there is any dust or moisture on the tip.
To remove it, pull it off with a twisting motion. This will make it much easier to remove.

How does my product warranty work?

We strongly recommend using poles for better stability when snowshoeing, especially if you intend to walk on slopes (uphill, downhill, etc.) or on powder snow. There are 2 types of baskets. Choose large baskets so the polls remain on the surface.

Using poles for increased stability when snowshoeing.

We tend to overdress when hiking in the snow because of the cold. However, once you get moving, you will warm up very quickly.
Use the three-layer technique. 
This technique lets you stay comfortable whatever your level of intensity: remove clothing when it is warm and put it back on when it is colder or during breaks. If you are too hot, you will sweat more, which will cool you down during breaks or when hiking downhill.

Choose breathable clothing for snowshoeing.

Whatever your cold-weather activity, use the three-layer technique:
Layer 1: A high-tech base layer to wick moisture away from the body and keep your skin dry.
 Layer 2: A fleece or sweater to provide warmth and transfer moisture outward.
 Layer 3: A jacket to protect against the elements (rain, snow, and wind). 
To eliminate moisture, the whole outfit must be breathable.

Dressing using the 3-layer technique

For off-piste hiking, make sure you are equipped with maps, a compass and/or GPS, an Avalanche Victim Detector, a shovel, and a probe. This equipment allows you to be found if you are caught in an avalanche, or to search for a victim. Do not forget to review your safety basics.

Designed and validated on real hikes: Mont Blanc in France, Atlas Mountains in Morocco, and Tenerife in the Canary Islands.
Durability was tested during a 550-km (341.7-mile) test mission in the Canaries and the Pyrenees (GR10).

You go hiking to get out in nature. You may need to carry your belongings for several days. That’s why you need a reliable pole.
We selected wider tubes in the highest-grade aluminum. We secured the pushpin area with internal reinforcement. Compression test results (pressure on the pole axis) show that this pole can support 560 N (~56 kg/123 lb) per pole.

Why did we work so hard on durability?

Before you begin your hike, you might have to travel by bus or plane. You’ll also have to carry all your equipment in your bag. Compact poles are easy to pack. When collapsed, this pole can fit in the side pocket of a hiking backpack.

Why make it compact?

We chose EVA foam, a soft material that’s resistant to perspiration and doesn’t tear easily.
We added a long grip below the handle for a lower hold when walking uphill and on banking terrain.
The knob is the most comfortable in the product line, with its elongated round shape and soft material. It is easily gripped from above.
The wrist strap is not too thick and has fewer seams, to prevent blisters.

How was the handle designed?

Using the pole: Extend the pole until the pushpin clicks. Refer to the instructions attached to the pole.
To adjust the length: While holding the grip, your arm should bend at a 90-degree angle. 
- Open the outer lever.
- Slide the tube to the desired length.
- Close the lever.
Never go over the Stop line to avoid breaking the pole.

How to adjust your poles to the correct length

This hiking pole is designed to help you balance, propel yourself forward, and reduce impact on your arms and legs.
To be on the safe side, check before you set off and at regular intervals that your pole is locked in place by simulating heavy bumps. If you notice that your pole keeps sliding out of place, the locking mechanism turn ring needs adjusting. Open the lever and turn the knob a quarter to a half turn.
Do not attach it to your backpack, as this can be hazardous in the event of a storm.

Proper maintenance of your pole will ensure that it functions optimally and that it lasts longer.
After use, if water has penetrated the pole, remove the strands and allow them to dry. If necessary, clean the dust or mud with water or a dry brush. Once dry, you can reassemble the strands.
Do not oil or grease the mechanisms.

Decathlon sells hiking and trekking poles individually. This is because they are used in different ways. Some people prefer to use only one pole. If someone uses a pair and one pole breaks, they can replace one broken pole without buying a new pair.

Why is the pole sold individually?
