Thanks to this unique system, your child can enjoy their skates for more than one season. Make sure to pick skates that fit your child’s feet. If they’re too big or too heavy, your child will have poor posture and struggle to control their movements.

One skate, many sizes

The semi-stiff boots have foam padding for extra comfort and moisture-wicking airy mesh to keep your child’s feet dry for longer.
They’re easy to put on thanks to their simple, effective fasteners: each boot has a top micrometric buckle and a rip-tab fastener on the instep so the heel fits snugly.
Sizes 11.5C–1 and 1–3.5 have elastic laces and sizes 3.5–6, standard laces.

Ultra comfortable

The lightweight composite plate ensures a smooth, easy glide. The 70 mm 80A wheels and ABEC 3 bearings provide effortless glide and maneuverability. They come with a classic rubber brake that you can attach to either the right or left boot. Spare brakes are available in stores.

Easy brake system

Unlike plastic, which skids, rubber provides good traction. This prevents slipping when your child pushes off and helps them brake effectively. What’s more, rubber wears less quickly than plastic.

Our Oxelo teams work hard to keep your child safe, however experienced they are. That’s why we chose to equip all our kids’ skates with rubber wheels and brakes.

Why rubber beats plastic

Some parts of the wheels will wear out more quickly, so switch their positions regularly. 
Replace them once they’ve worn down to the first of the seven visible rings.

Making your wheels last

The FIT 3 skates are equipped with 70 mm wheels.
Inline skates in sizes 1/3.5 and 3.5/6 can be equipped with 76 mm wheels, even light-up ones, which are available online or in store.

The Play 120’s symmetrical design and lower height set it apart from regular skateboards.
For greater stability, the trucks are set wider and at an incline, creating a lower deck to make pushing off easier.

We have equipped this adult scooter with large 200 mm High Bounce PU rubber wheels. This makes it ideal for any journey. A large wheel makes it easier to build up speed with minimal effort.

Maintenance

To meet your needs and provide maximum user comfort, the T7 XL is equipped with two suspension systems: One at the front and one at the rear. These suspension systems greatly reduce the discomfort caused by uneven roads or pavements.

The Oxelo T7 XL scooter comes with a brake on the handlebar and a second brake on the back wheel. This second brake comes in the form of a long mudguard that covers much of the wheel.

How much does the T7 XL scooter weigh?

We recommend looking over your scooter before and after each ride to check for abnormal play, cracks, and sharp edges.Wheels and bearings are subject to wear. They should be checked and replaced if needed. 

As your scooter is subjected to bumps, jolts, and vibrations, certain parts may come loose. 
You can have the screws tightened at your local Decathlon workshop, or tighten them yourself with the included Allen keys (designed to fit every part).

Loose parts

All of our scooters have been lab-tested to validate their compliance with European scooter standards and resistance to wear. We field-test our skateboards to gather feedback and really put each product through its paces. The result is a tested, proven product.

These inline skates are perfect for kids who want to start out, by gradually gaining speed.

See the little tongue on the front of the boot? Simply move the rip-tab to the number desired. 1 for the smallest size, 2 for the middle size and 3 for the biggest. The space at the front of the foot is then freed up, thus gaining 2 sizes. Clever, eh?

Adjusting the size

The hardware kit, also called "stability kit", can be fitted to Play 3 and Play 5 inline skates of any size. This "stability kit" lets kids start in "tricycle" mode: It's the ideal way to increase stability on their first few rides to build up confidence.

When the little ones skate for the first time, parents tend to hold both their arms. It's an automatic reflex, but it's not a good idea. So how can the kids be helped? Take them somewhere with a handrail; tell them to walk with baby steps while holding the rail in one hand. They'll get there!
