Forclaz tents are laboratory-tested: pitched tent, 200 litres/m²/hour (3 hours, equivalent to a tropical storm).They are also tested in the field by a sample user group. 75 denier polyester (PE) flysheet, polyurethane-coated (interior), water-repellent treatment (exterior), P75D bedroom floor cover. Seams taped with heat-sealed strips.

Repairs and after-sales service

This tent is designed for camping, not for static use in the sun. Avoid leaving it in the sun to prevent UV damage.

Two 60 cm (23.6”) side porches (storage space between the bedroom and flysheet) can each accommodate a backpack of about 50 to 70 litres, mountain equipment, and a pair of hiking shoes.

Size and living space

Separate flysheet and bedroom. Traditional pitching method: Once the bedroom is pitched on the ground, put the 2 main poles in place and clip onto the bedroom. Add the yellow cross pole by placing it over the 2 main poles and attach it to the bedroom. Cover the whole tent with the flysheet. Adjust the tautness. With colour coding on the pole, bedroom, and flysheet for easy pitching.

Pitching

We designed this tent for the summer. The mesh bedroom offers optimal ventilation. A zippered flap adjusts the airflow by your head. The flysheet is designed to encourage airflow inside the bedroom. It also comes with 2 high vents.  The flysheet is optional. Spend a summer night under the stars.
