The ventilated flysheet over the living area airs the room and reduces condensation inside the tent. Each bedroom has an exterior ventilation hatch. Each bedroom has a large interior ventilation hatch. The living room is fitted with a mosquito net.

Ventilation

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity.
Properly pitched, with the guy ropes deployed, this tent remains habitable in wind speed 6, measured at 50km/h.

Our tents are tested to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, equivalent to 200mm tropical rain per hour. The second test is done in the field in real-life conditions. This tent is fitted with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet measuring 2,000mm. It also has seams that have been waterproofed with heat-sealed strips, and a 140g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.

Waterproofing

We care about our product’s durability. That’s why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs are available at your Decathlon store’s workshop or on our website.

Decathlon’s patented Fresh & Black technology uses special materials to reflect the sun’s rays and block the light.
This helps keep it cool and dark inside the tent.
To make the most of this technology, remember to vent your tent at night!

Fresh & Black technology keeps the inside of your tent cooler and darker

Our Fresh&Black technology uses UPF 50+ sun protection fabric.
Note: a significant amount of UV rays can pass through an open door.

Sun protection

All of our poles are made from fibreglass and undergo double quality checks. These controls guarantee resistance against breakage.
Tent pegs - All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6mm.

Poles and tent pegs

All-in-one frame structure with pre-assembled bedrooms and flysheet. 
Insert the four coloured poles into their respective sleeves. Position the poles in the black end pieces located below the flysheet to make the tent taut. Drive in the V-shaped pegs at the two back corners, then pull the tent forward. Then drive in the pegs at the two front corners.

We recommend that two people pitch the tent.

Pitching the tent and taking it down

Our camping tents are designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) when camping in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage them. These products are not patio furniture. They are not designed to be left outdoors long-term. To guarantee maximum durability, it’s important to store your tent when not in use.

Maintenance tips

5sqm living area and a maximum inner tent height of 2m.
This tent includes several accessories:
- A foldaway basin-shaped groundsheet at the entrance in case of rain
- Transparent window with flap
- Mosquito net window with flap
- Two storage pockets in each bedroom and eight in the living room

Living room

The large bedroom in this tent is intended to accommodate a maximum of three 70cm wide mattresses.
The small bedroom is intended to accommodate a maximum of two 70cm wide mattresses.
The partition separating both bedrooms cannot be removed.
