I'm super happy to finally find a fleece kit that is light weight and fits perfectly. Will be a charm for fall/winter.
The fit of the pants is great - true to size although those that prefer a high waist pant likely will not like these. The waist hits 2-3 inches below the belly button so not at the most flattering point on most women. I like everything about these pants aside from the waist band/draw string particularly good quality of pant for the money. The elastic waist band is tight enough to not need a draw string at all so why did they put this weirdly thick drawstring in? I thought okay maybe if people want to size up 2-3 sizes for a very oversized fit they might need it. It isn't needed and causes lumping and discomfort in the wait band. I tried to pull it out but it appears to be sewn in in the back. Given the cost of the pants I decided to live with it but I've just seen in a side-by-side comparison in a targeted ad that the men's pant have a "normal" elastic waistband with no draw string. What gives? Why do men get the practical/comfortable waist band. Boo!
I use these as a part of my sleep system when hiking. I take a tiny naturehike summer sleeping back, combined with a +8 degree bag liner, puffy, fleece trousers and a fleece jumper, that system let's me sleep warm down to about -2 degrees C.
It is good thermal, and it makes you warm quickly...
Super soft and ultra confortable to wear, it will be ideal to keep warm in the tent when I’ll go camping
I purchased a size small in these pants to use while climbing Mt Kenya, both as a base layer around camp and as pyjamas in my sleeping bag. They are well suited to both these tasks because they are form fitting and fleece is always going to be warm. HOWEVER, they are a little short on me (admittedly i have a longer leg inseam - 33inches) and worst of all, they have a really short crotch length! They are flattering as long as i'm walking around but as soon as i sit down or bend over the back rides down and it's a full moon! I don't think i have a particularly big bum and i have seen a few people comment the same so i think this is just a poorly designed product. I am hoping they have a size M in stock soon so i can try those on instead and see if they fit better.
I actually tried on the men's small hoping they might fit better and although they don't ride down at the back, they feel much shorter in length and the fit was so loose that they felt draughty.
Very Comfortable and value for money
Good for winter.
Perfect for cold weathers
