Design
The foot, rotor, and line retrieval are strengthened by being oversized. TEAM CAPERLAN engineers and designers developed and tested the Bauxit 3000 RD in Cestas, Gironde region, France.

ENDURANCE TEST
The reel completed 500,000 rotation cycles without malfunction.
SALT SPRAY TEST
After 400 hours of exposure to salt spray, the reel continues to turn.
DRAG POWER TEST
Measures the maximum force exerted (in kilograms) in order to provide the required drag quality.
LOAD TEST
A 12 kg weight is hung on the reel by the spool for 2 minutes.
