TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Comfort and support

The semi-soft boot is made with 3D mesh that prevents excess moisture buildup inside the skate. Foam and heel cushioning ensure maximum comfort.
The high, stiff cuff provides excellent ankle support and is reinforced by a triple-fastening system (laces, micrometric buckle, and strap).

Do you have to choose between glide quality and handling?

Not with Oxelo. Decathlon’s FIT 500 in-line skates have a smooth glide thanks to ABEC 7 bearings, an aluminium frame that’s stiffer than plastic and handles well, and new 80 mm rubber wheels with an 80A hardness rating for better grip and comfort.
The combination of an aluminium frame and 80 mm rubber wheels gives you a great balance between push and glide quality.
Compatible with 84 mm wheels.

Maintenance and repairs

For repairs and replacements, look for after-sales parts in-store, online, or at your local Decathlon store workshop.
Replaceable parts: 80 mm 80A/80 mm 84A wheels and ABEC 7/ABEC 9 bearings. Brake can be used on either foot.

Preventing uneven wear

To extend the lifespan of your skates, remove and clean the wheels and degrease the bearings with a dry cloth after skating through water, dust, or sand.

How can you make the wheels last longer?

Skate wheels don’t wear evenly because of how we angle our feet to push off or turn. That’s why it’s important to rotate your wheels regularly and to always
switch them in pairs.

These adult skates meet the EN 13843 class A standard, which applies to in-line skates intended for users weighing between 20 and 100 kg. This European standard aims to reduce the risk of injury by defining safety requirements and specifications for test methods, markings, and information provided by manufacturers.

The aesthetic is nice but the quality is the worst I've ever worn. I took the tag off and took them for a spin. Right away I didn't feel safe. I took them off and flipped them over. The wheels on the bottom are not aligned in the middle. - Not sure who your manufacturer, but everything else in the store seems to be great quality. Please discontinue these as it's not fair to anyone who buy these is essentially losing their money.

Went to Joo Koon's outlet to try it out before purchasing on Monday 18/04. Staff IC was proactive in offering his help when he saw me pondering quite long on the skates, kudos to him!

Skates: i'd recommend to try it in person instead of ordering. I'm a usual 37 and i settled with size 40. The website's "size guide" is not reliable; it recommended a 38 with my 23.5cm foot with loose preference. Quality and workmanship is pretty decent for the price you pay for. Hopefully the plastic buckle and skates can last.

Recommendation: offer different colour schemes for ladies too instead of light colours. Eg this white-peppermint is for ladies and the orange-black for men. Pretty sure we ladies would appreciate dark colours too since it doesn't get dirty easily. Nonetheless, great colour combo!

Overall, great pair for starters.
