All our rugby shoulder pads have protection in 10 areas and offer varying levels of durability, breathability and freedom of movement.
Our products include a breathable, all-textile range (the 100 range) as well as more durable options from the 500 and 900 ranges with different levels of freedom of movement.
Technical details: foam
Thermoformed foam: molded using heat to give it a specific shape. This technology creates a more ergonomic product.
Foam pads: simple, stitched foam shapes. They offer good protection but reduced freedom of movement.
Technical details: fabrics
Mesh: airy fabric that helps to wick perspiration away.
Full fabric: durable and elasticated fabric, making it sturdy and close-fitting.
The use of the two fabrics is vital for breathability and durability.
World Rugby standards
All our protective gear complies with World Rugby standards for match use. These standards dictate what the foam must be made of and how dense (less than 45 kg per m3) and thick it must be (less than 1 cm).
Our protective gear is designed in collaboration with our technical partners Juandre Kruger, Bernard Leroux, Eddy Ben Arous and Jonathan Wisniewski, who all play in the TOP 14.
They help us improve these products by getting involved at every stage of the design process, and by validating them during tests that reproduce real-life playing conditions.
