Why choose light running shoes?

Research and development have shown that lighter shoes improve running performance by reducing energy consumption.
The design of the KS Light does not compromise on comfort and durability. Improved with lighter components and an optimized sole design.
Kiprun’s KS Light is 12% lighter than the Kiprun Long.
Weight: 240 g in size 5.5.

The importance of cushioning

For long-lasting running performance with optimal comfort, we have developed two technologies:
- K-Ring: the ring in the heel improves rear cushioning and distributes shocks to effectively protect the body (joints, back, knees, etc.)
- Kalensole: Exclusive foam, developed through research and development, improves cushioning by 34%, delivers 25% more energy return than traditional foam and offers durability of up to 1,000 km

Did you say stable?

A stable shoe that facilitates the roll-through of the foot and reduces the effort needed to control the foot and heel for a more relaxed foot motion.
The surface supporting the foot and at the back of the heel has been reinforced.

The comfort of the Kiprun KS Light

Comfort is a key factor for regular, long-distance runs.
We have sought to improve this comfort with:
- a new collar at the back of the shoe ensuring excellent heel support and ideal softness.
- a pre-shaped sole made out of PU (polyurethane) open-cell foam.
- a reworked forefoot area for more comfort.
- a single piece of seamless fabric reduce rubbing.

Excellent road-holding ability on wet roads and turns

For effective running without any loss of control when it rains, our sole was designed like a car tire.
The new geometry of the sole combined with a new rubber component provides the Kiprun KS Light with excellent grip on wet terrain, even at top speed.

Adapted to all strides

The exclusive K-Only concept with denser foam under the first metatarsus is suitable for all stride types (overpronator, underpronator, neutral).
A six-month study conducted with the Luxembourg Institute of Health* showed that the K-Only concept suits all strides.

Would be a better shoe if the tongue didn't press on the top of my foot.
It actually bruised my foot so I can not use this shoe for running.

Một trong những đôi duy nhất ở Decathlon mình mua 2 phối màu khác nhau vì quá ưng.
- Êm: siêu êm, đứng lên đi lại bình thường đã cảm nhận ngay được khả năng đàn hồi của đế.
- Đàn hồi/Phản hồi lực: cái đế Kalensole thì vốn nó êm, phải hồi yếu, thế cái phản lực cần có cho 1 đôi giày chạy Marathon đến từ đâu? Chính là cái công nghệ K-Ring nằm trong phần đế dưới gót chân đấy các bác. Vì thế nên khi thử nhún chân tỳ lực lên phần mũi sẽ thấy kém êm và ít phàn lực hơn so với phần gót dù cùng là 1 loại vật liệu (tính cả việc độ dày khác nhau nữa).
- Nhẹ, thoáng: phần upper khá thú vị, độ co giãn vừa phải mang lại khả năng giữ chân ổn định trong vòm giày nhưng vẫn đủ mỏng và thoáng để thoát hơi thoát ẩm tốt.
Đôi này đứng lên cảm giác y hệt UltraBoost của adidas nhưng nhẹ hơn.
Chạy cực ổn định.
