Mixed Ultra Trail Running Bag 15 L

Loving this pack! I'll be using it for long mountain bike rides, gravel riding and touring, running, and hikes! Feels like quality and excellent design. Moves with me and keeps everything I need at hand. Also a decent bladder bag included although I've used a few silicone soft bottles so far....the bladder will be used shortly and looks good too.

For the past 3 years, the 10 litre version of this vest has been my go-to running vest - used on a weekly basis without any signs of wear and tear offering everything I needed for runs up to 6-hours duration, offering plenty of room for wet-weather clothes, food, drink, and all manor of extras including gels, phone and other essentials.

Looking to go that little bit further and bogged down with mandatory kit requirements, I naturally tried on the 15 litre version and wow - this adds a lot more to almost every element of the pack.

All of the best parts of the 10 litre version are still there but with way more space in the rear for bulkier items with adjustable side straps so nothing moves around when carrying a lighter load; more side pockets with adjustable side straps to get that perfect fit, whatever gear you are wearing; dedicated front phone pocket and two smaller pockets on the back which can fit a surprisingly large number of bits and bobs for easy access.

I've never used the rear water carrier but it's a nice option to have and will be useful for waking in the summer and the magnetic tube holder is a nice touch. The blue version of the pack also has attachments for collapsible walking pole quiver - an optional extra which I almost will certainly buy next paycheck.

There may be technically better running packs on the market, but you'll struggle to buy a better quality pack without paying a significantly higher price - seriously, this is a very good pack and if it lasts half as long as the previous vest, I'll be very happy indeed.

Great trail vest with more than enough room for kit, food, first aid kit, map and even a small thermos for colder runs/treks.Easily as good quality as the more expensive top brand trail vest producers and for half the price.

This trail running bag is suitable for any trail run. Come with good compartments and 1.5L water bag.

Used this bag on my first trail ran and put it through its paces on 21 mile slog through the cotswolds. I’m impressed with the storage had all the space I need for the days run. The front storage is easy to access for when you need to access a snack but don’t want to stop.

On one issue with bag is it’s too loose fitting. I found I could only fill the bladder to about 1 litre before the extra weight made the slip down my back. I bought the L/XL size and it’s a ok fit when I tried it on instore. But out in the real world when I’ve loaded my kit and added water I would have appreciated a snugger fit or more straps to tighten the fit.

I would recommend asking the staff if you can pack some kit into and possible a filled bladder to try fit when it’s filled up. That way you get a understanding of the size you need.

That aside. If you can find a good size for your body type, I recommend this bad. It’s a really good price for the all the space you get. I ran 3 1/2 hours in it and aprt from the sagging issue. It was very comfortable to wear, no chaffing on my shoulders or back. Also it was very breathable.

I have the black one with rubber slider zips. Was surprised that the blue one just had looped thread as zip sliders. It costs the same as the black one yet, the looped thread is neither good looking nor user friendly. I normally hike with bushy trails at times and all those looped thread slider is to slip through some twigs and either fall off or break. Not sturdy at all! My first thought was, you were cost cutting without thought of safety or long lasting use. I like the pack color though. But I’m dreading the day those looped thread sliders fall off during my hike. Then what? How do I replace lost sliders, wc with this new design, is bound to happen.

The pack is spacious and fits everything you need for an ultra.
I love the number of pockets for stashing salt tabs etc and the pack sits well on my back with no movement.
I have used mine on several long runs and I found it comfortable to wear, no chafing even after 50 miles.
Could it be improved? Maybe a bit of colour coded beading around the front pockets to help me remember where stuff is stashed but other than that it is very good.

1st trip with this bag, the chest strap snapped. Immediately went back to store after the trip & got the replacement unit without any hustle.
But now after 4 months usage, i found a few small holes on the bag
Also the zip cannot close smoothly as before

Nonetheless, still a good bag with its value

I truly love this bag and use it on my training runs,10K-30K, even though I only load the bag with 2 soft flasks I hardly notice the bag

I bought this bag for my self-supportive ultra runs and when it comes to doing a 100K or more, I am really missing a 'crossing elastic rope or net kind of thing' on the back' as it would be very practical, in different ways, as examples; carry solar cell [for longer, several days], drying socks and more.
I have manufactured a net by myself but as it sits, it is really difficult to get into the large and the two smaller compartments [as the net is in the way]

I would be nice if you could take up this with the design department to see if the amendment would be possible. I for one would be a buyer :)
