It seems the cathlon does not want people reading about their products being less than functional. This device even with a brand new battery simply will not stay connected. I tried with two different pixels 7 phones, I tried with a pixel 5, an iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 and a Sam
sung s20. All failed. It can't stay connected for a full 5K run. I ended up pulling it off my chest in the middle of my run because I was frustrated with the lost connection, connection reestablish, lost connection, connection reestablished consistently talking in my ear over my music.

If you are serious about accurate data for your runs then do not purchase this device.Instead, purchase a heart rate monitor from Polar.I purchased this monitor two months ago.Whilst it is partially accurate at the lower zones of running, as soon as the pace is increased the
heart rate readings become erratic, unpredictable and unreliable. You would be better running on perceived effort and leave the monitor at home.I am shocked that Decathlon continue to put this device on their shelves

Won't connect either to my phone or to my cycle computer. Then if I accidentally manage to connect (which takes ~20 minutes), next time I want to use I need to start all over again, deleting the sensor, trying to pair, etc... Spending 30 minutes trying to set this up before wo
rkouts is super frustrating so I suggest to go for something that is more compatible with devices.

Stops working when it gets sweaty
