TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Experience

Wed’ze Wid 300 ski boots are ideal for learning to ski. Enough flex to support you as you progress yet very tolerant of mistakes.

Buckle adjustment

Three aluminum micrometric buckles. Adjust the length of the buckle by tightening or loosening the hook. The top buckle has three positions to fit every calf size. Strap for powerfully and easily tightening the top of the boot.

What is flex?

Brands assign a flex rating to every boot that indicates its rigidity. This figure indicates the rigidity of the entire boot: the higher the figure, the stiffer the shell. A flex rating under 60 is for beginner skiers. A 60–80 flex rating is for intermediate skiers. A flex rating above 80 is aimed at advanced skiers. Heavier skiers can go up one level.

How to find the right size

Once your foot is in the boot, fasten the buckles to the midpoint. Can you go further? This means the volume of the boot isn't right for you. Once the boot is closed, flex the boots three times by pressing hard on the shins (put your hands on your knees to help) and push your heel backwards inside the boot. Stand upright: your foot should touch the end of the shell. When you flex, your foot should move backwards so you can no longer feel the tip.

What should you do if you experience foot pain?

1- Choose a thin technical ski sock to prevent pressure points and promote blood circulation.
2- Choose a sole that fits the shape of your foot so it doesn't feel compressed against the shell. Ask a sales assistant for advice.

How to store your ski boots

1- Air your boots by removing the liner from the plastic shells.
2- Fasten the buckles at the first notch to prevent the boots from becoming misshapen and, if possible, store them in a boot bag.
3- Ideally, store them in a dry place where the temperature will not drop below 10°C. This will protect the plastic of the boots.
