TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Sun protection

Because UV rays are harmful to eyes, all our goggles are certified 100% Anti-UV by the EN 174 standard. Goggles offer the best protection as they perfectly enclose the eyes, preventing any direct or reflected UV light from entering

S1 and S3 lens - Interchangeable lens function.

Ski goggles with interchangeable lens for all-weather use.
S1 means a light lens that helps you see better in bad weather by increasing relief visibility.
S3 means a dark lens that protects you from the intense sunlight.
The screens are not scratch resistant.

High performance anti-fogging.

The Performance anti-fogging system offers a double lens with a treatment on the inside. The frame’s ventilation system allows air to circulate inside the ski goggles.
For good ventilation inside your goggles, do not obstruct these air vents—with a neck warmer, for example.
Do not rub inner surface of lens. Instead, to preserve the anti-fogging treatment for as long as possible, dab it carefully.

Double lens

Goggles with dual screen to reduce condensation. The air trapped between the lenses creates a layer of thermal insulation. This way, there is less thermal shock between the inside and the outside of the goggles, slowing down fogging on the inside lens. The inner lens is also given an anti-fog treatment.

Cylindrical lens

Triple cylindrical screen. The central lens is made from photochromatic polycarbonate, rendering it resistant to impact. The inner lens is made from Acetate and the interchangeable lens is in flexible polycarbonate.

Ski helmet compatibility

All Wedze ski goggles are designed to fit perfectly with Wedze ski helmets.

Compatible with prescription glasses.

The G500 I ski goggles in size L allow the use of max. 145 mm-wide prescription glasses. The foam on the sides and the shape of the goggle skirt leaves a passage for each temple.

Strap

40 mm-wide polyamide, polyester, and rubber elastic, 2 non-slip silicone straps

Thermocompressed case

Protect the goggles, and the lens in particular, from scratches before and after use.
This thermocompressed case is ideal for storing your mask and protecting it from getting crushed in your bag or in a jacket pocket.

Flash coloured lens

A coloured coating on the outer side of the lens (named coloured Flash) reduces the percentage of light that reaches the eye, preventing glare and improving clarity in sunny conditions
Warning: the lenses are not scratch resistant.

EN 174 standard

The EN 174 standard is a European standard applied to goggles used for eye protection when downhill skiing or during similar activities, such as snowboarding. The ANSI standard is more stringent than the European standard for resistance to shocks and impact.
This ski mask meets both of these standards.

To avoid fogging

Moisture causes fogging. To prevent this, the foam should not get damp, for example by placing the goggles on a wet helmet or a hat. Falling face-down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. It’s recommended to correctly dry your ski goggles overnight to get rid of all traces of humidity and use entirely dry goggles the next day.

Two sizes

Choose the size of the goggles according to your head size. Below 55 cm, choose size S. Above 55 cm, choose size L.

Performance visual field

There is a vertical and a horizontal visual field. The G500 have a Performance visual field, allowing good visibility on the sides.
