UV protection
Because UV rays are harmful to eyes, all our goggles are certified 100% Anti-UV by the EN 174 Standard. Goggles offer the best protection as they perfectly enclose the eyes, preventing any direct or reflected UV light from entering
S3 lens
S3 corresponds to a dark lens which provides good protection from the brightness of the sun. We have selected a brown tint that preserves good visibility in shaded areas or at the end of the day when the sun is less bright.
The lenses are not scratch resistant.
Essential anti-fog
“Essential" anti-fogging is provided by a double lens with a treatment on the inside of the inner lens.
To ensure proper air flow inside the goggles, do not block air vents with a neck warmer, for example.
Do not rub the inside of the lens but carefully dab the surface to maintain the anti-fogging treatment for as long as possible.
Double lens
Goggles with double lens to reduce condensation. The air trapped between the lenses creates a layer of thermal insulation. As a result, the thermal shock between the inside of the goggles and the outside is reduced. This delays any condensation on the inside lens of the goggles. The inner lens is also given an anti-fog treatment.
Cylindrical lens
Cylindrical double lens, made of polycarbonate for the outer lens and cellulose polycarbonate for the inner lens, both cut to fit the shape of the goggles.
Ski helmet compatibility
All Wedze ski goggles are designed to fit perfectly with Wedze ski helmets.
Compatible with prescription glasses.
The foam on the sides and the shape of the skirt leave a passage for the stems of eyeglasses. The G 100 ski goggles in size L can be worn with eyeglasses no wider than 135 mm.
Strap
40 mm high polyamide, polyester, and rubber strap.
EN 174 standard
The EN 174 standard is a European standard applied to goggles used for eye protection when downhill skiing or during similar activities, such as snowboarding. The ANSI standard is the American standard, which is more stringent than the European standard for shock and impact resistance.
These ski goggles meet these 2 standards
To avoid fogging
Moisture causes fogging. Make sure that the foam does not get damp, e.g. by being placed on a wet helmet or hat. Falling face-down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. Be sure to dry your ski goggles thoroughly overnight to remove any moisture so you can hit the slopes the next day with perfectly dry goggles.
Two sizes
Choose the size of your goggles based on head size. Up to 55 cm, choose the size S (formerly size S/M). From 56 cm,
choose size L (formerly size L/XL)
Essential field of vision
There is a vertical and a horizontal visual field. The G 100 has an “Essential" field of vision, with a wide view for seeing well on the sides.
