What is the UV protection of these ski and sledding goggles?

UV rays are bad for the eyes. All our goggles meet the EN 174 standard and provide 100% UV protection. Ski goggles offer the best protection: they completely cover your child’s eyes, preventing UV rays and glare from passing through.

Why do these ski goggles have a dual lens?

This dual lens mask slows the formation of fog. The air trapped between the lenses creates a layer of thermal insulation. It reduces the thermal shock between the inside and the outside of the mask, decreasing fogging on the inner lens. The inner lens also has an anti-fog treatment.

What is Essential anti-fogging?

Essential anti-fogging combines a treated dual lens and an air vent on the frame that ventilates the inside of the ski mask.
For good ventilation, do not block air vents, for example, with a neck warmer.
Don’t rub the inside of the lens. Instead, gently dab the surface to ensure the anti-fogging treatment remains effective for as long as possible.

How to prevent fogging

Moisture causes fogging. Make sure that the foam does not get damp, e.g., by being placed on a wet helmet or hat. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. Always let your ski mask dry overnight so you can return to the slopes the next day with a completely dry mask.

How do I clean and care for the ski and sledding goggles?

Outer lens:
Use a slightly damp microfibre cloth (or a cover sold in the ski mask department) to clean the outer lens. This type of cloth will not scratch the lens. Gently rub the lens surface.
Inner lens:
Because the surface of the inner lens has an anti-fog treatment, do not wipe but rather lightly dab it with a microfibre cloth.

What are the lens features?

Wraparound dual lens. The outer lens, made from injection-moulded polycarbonate, is extremely shock-resistant, and the inner lens is made from acetate.

What are the strap features?

22 mm high polyamide, polyester, and rubber strap.
