When you wheel the bag, the bottom scrapes against the ground. To prevent this, you need to hoist the bag up, which requires bending your elbow. This is obviously very difficult when the bag has skis in it. I stand at 178 cm (5 ft 10 in) tall.

This bag looked great to start and when I did a trail fit of my equipment (1 pair downhill skis plus poles and ski wear) fit everything with loads of space to spare. Unfortunately using it isn’t as good as expected. Having packed the hard items on the bottom to make it rigid
, and my ski pants etc on top, the bag would bend in the middle and drag on the ground. It meant either damaging the bag further (underneath is all scuffed and fabric doesn’t look like it will withstand more than a few uses) or carrying the bag at an awkward angle which is really uncomfortable for such a long case. This bag is best for either storing skis or if they’re simply loaded in/out of a car for the whole journey, not for rolling through airports and train stations!

This is a good bag but don’t expect it to fit 4 full size skis with bindings. 3 with bindings is really tight, I think depending on your skis/bindings you may only be able to fit 2. Maybe you can fit 4 if 2 are kids skis and 2 full size. Still a great bag for the price
