Can't understand all the bad reviews on these socks. I am a good ski-ier and bought 5 pairs of these socks and used them on 2 ski holidays over the winter/spring - no holes appeared, they are still in perfect condition. I do wash them by hand though and not by machine - maybe that is the answer?

He find that they fit nice and snug and because they are knee high they keep his legs really warm.
