Our design teams developed this long-sleeved UV-protection T-Shirt to protect babies from the sun during activities in the water and by the sea.

BENEFITS

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Protection for kids

It’s especially important for kids to wear proper sun protection, as a child’s skin is two to three times more sensitive to UV rays than an adult’s.

Behaviour in the sun

This T-shirt protects against UV rays, but it doesn’t provide complete sun protection. It is essential to consider other factors such as reflections of the sun (off sand, water, etc.), temperature, and time of day. For example, wear a hat and sunglasses, regularly apply sunscreen, and stay hydrated.

What does UPF 50+ mean?

UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) is an international standard that measures
the proportion of UV rays a fabric lets through to your skin.
A UPF of 50+ means that the fabric blocks at least 98% of UVB rays and 95% of UVA rays.

For your information, this UV-protection T-Shirt protects your child from UV rays even when in the water with maximum coverage and it is easy to put on, thanks to the press studs at the back of the collar. However, precaution must be taken into account by wearing sunglasses, regularly applying suitable sun cream, wearing a hat, and staying hydrated although this UV-shirt provides protection from the sun. Great product, however it will be good to improve on the variation of sizes available. It's either too big or too small for some kids. Otherwise, great product.
