Silicon Caps are 100% waterproof as a material but do not provide for 100% water tightness as water enters through the gap between the cap and your ears. Silicon caps should be kept dry after each use and worn dry before next use to avoid wear and tear. You may visit your nearest decathlon store for the best solution. It is very well styled, fits perfectly without any stretches/pinches from any sides. It is quite aerodynamic !! The hair remain dry as long as one is wearing it & hence it's a kind of insulating too !
