Beginner surfers

At the beginner level, you are just learning to surf or surf only a few times a year. You ride small or broken waves in shallow waters where your feet touch the bottom. We offer a wide range of swimwear for beginners of all body types.

Design

Ideal for surfing in broken waves, stand-up paddle boarding, or snorkelling. With their slightly loose fit and low-rise waist, Tini boardshorts suit all body shapes. The shorter style is a flattering length, and the drawstring keeps them in place in the water.

Stays in place in the waves: Testing

Our swimsuits are designed to stay in place in the waves. Our women’s styles are tested by a panel of female surfers with different body types. They’re first tested in a pool under simulated surfing conditions, then worn during real sessions in the ocean.

Olaian, Decathlon’s surf brand

Decathlon’s surfing brand, Olaian, is based in Hendaye, France. With our offices right by the water, we can design products and field-test them the very same day.

Material is comfortable and light weight, the length of the shorts can be slightly longer. Pockets for putting hair ties or dollar note. Hope to see more variety in patterns & colors .
