First of all, just to clarify that these shorts do have a drawstring. I have contacted Decathlon india, USA and both said that these shorts have elastic only.
But the waist size is not proportional to size of shorts.
The L size's waist is bigger for me yet the length and everything is completely fine. I guess that if I buy an M size then the waist would be okay but the shorts would be small. Go for some other shorts. Yea the fabric do have a little elasticity in it but non elastic polyester shorts also feel the exactly same

I think this is potentially an anomaly and is not the case with the other shorts in stock. I will go investigate this and follow up with my team in India.

Overall I like these shorts. They fit slightly snug for the size, but pockets can still hold 2 tennis balls.

I wasn’t distracted by them when playing - that is, the waistband doesn’t fold oddly like some shorts with similar elastic waistbands have done.

The picture with the model is representative of the fit; if you prefer a slightly looser fit, maybe go up a size.

When listed, the colour shown was a nice Red which is why I bought it. Later the images were revised to show the actual colour which is orange. The title still calls it light Red. Perhaps they need a colour palette to identify colour.

amazing design, trim, cut. very comfortable, lots of balls to hold, and do not get wet or sticky. I have black and yellow colours and love them. Missed getting the green and snow white options. the new off-white has a slight yellow hue to it, it goes well with the new off-white dry+ shirt, but doesn't go together with older tennis & doppler effect white t-shirts. Can't wait for a red one.

Wow, I amazed with the quality from Team Artengo.. Exceptionally good for a sport a like Tennis..Feels so light on out body and absorbs to sweat well.
