The TR500 is oversize at 107 sq. inches and slightly head heavy. The factory polyester string job was very playable. The racquet had a bit of the nice sound a wood racquet used to make. There was very little vibration and it was very stable with good power. It excelled on flat shots and flat serves. The grip was of a quality material and the shape was wider at the sides (which I prefer). It is stiff but it never felt like a board. The sweetspot is powerful so add some spin or the ball will fly. I never had to work hard to generate decent power especially on flat shots. Though the string pattern is open, spin generation was not very good; hitting backhand slice was a weak point. Overall, a quality frame. The package was shipped in too large a box that ripped open during transit. Decathlon sent me a $10 coupon to use in 2 days but it seems this model is now sold out.
I have used this racket for around 4 weeks and I feel like strings strength is not good and every time you need to adjust the string.
That's why I am not recommending this racket to others.
If you are a very beginner player the you may go for it.
Thank you for all these details.
Yes for sure, this racket is made for users who do not play very often.
We have our 900 series and especially 930 spin lite that bring a better
answer in terms of benefits.
However, the problem also may come the string or the tension.
We propose service stringing in 20 stores.
Can you tell me in which city you are located and I will indicate you
if we have one store not far from there and I will make sure they change
the string for free.
